Harry's POV
"Trying to remember how to feels to have a heart beat" I feel really good about that take, it's only 11:30 but I've made really good progress with this song. This song is something I'm very proud of, it was completely inspired by one person- Louis Tomlinson. Speak of the devil. My husband enters the room holding bags and drinks from the deli down the road. He's dressed in dark washed jeans and my black Adidas sweatshirt. He looks absolutely stunning in my clothes. We lock eyes and his bright smile lights up the whole room, he's my little ray of sunshine.
I take off my headphones and exit the box, not waiting for my producer to give me the okay, I really just want to hug my husband. "Hi Hazza" Louis stands on his tip toes and places a kiss on my forehead, and I of course lean down slightly to help him reach. "Thank you for lunch babe, you didn't have to" I take the bags from him and make my way over to the couch and coffee table. "I know, but it was an excuse to see my handsome husband at work."
Louis and I are always drifting in and out of the honeymoon phase. We had a bad starting out, with management trying to hide us, then our whole breakup in 2015; but we finally tied the knot in 2016 and have been inseparable since, we still have our ups and downs like any other married couple.
"Briana is dropping off Freddie for the weekend!" Louis' face lights up, his heart is so full for his son, well I guess our son. I have the privilege of co-parenting with Louis and Briana. "I can't wait Lou, we can take him to the park now that the weather is getting nicer!" I love moments like this, simple moments that we can steal from each other in the midst of being busy with work. We finish our lunch and I'm ready to hop back into the studio.
"Hey H, my wife called, gotta go, there's an emergency" my producer interrupts. "I'm sorry to hear that, please take all the time off that you need, I'll see you on Monday. Please call me if you need more time." I usher my producer out before turning to Louis, "ready to go home?"
Louis and I make our way back to our flat, excited that we have the rest of the day to relax, and that Freddie is getting dropped off after dinner. "Yanno..." Louis trails off looking at me with a small smirk. "We should probably do some stuff now before Freddie gets here, cause I won't be able to handle not being with you for the entire weekend" I giggle at his suggestiveness, our sex drive is still high as ever.
After our alone time I stand in the kitchen making dino nuggets and curly fries. When Freddie comes over this is what our diet consist of, well this and mac n cheese of course. I hear Louis talk on the phone with Briana, saying we'll see her soon. I get more and more giddy by the minute; I love spending time with Freddie, and I love watching Louis interact with Freddie. It shows a soft side of him that not everyone sees, I get the privilege of seeing it.
"Daddy!!!!" Little Freddie runs up to his dad, wrapping his small arms around Louis' neck. I see Briana smile fondly at their interaction, I'm happy about the relationship we all have with each other. There's no drama, no hard feelings, just pure mutual respect. Freddie turned to me, "Hazza!!!!!" His little legs sprint over to me, I lift him, spinning him around. He's so tiny but I swear he gets bigger every time I see him.
He's a spitting image of Louis, they have the exact same smile, both their eyes crinkle when they show a wide grin. I swear the exact same attitude, I cannot count the times we've had to scold Freddie for his tone or his language but hey, he's a Tomlinson. He spends the majority of his time with his mother, due to me and Louis being busy a lot of the time. Therefore he has an American accent, which I know might not seem like a big deal to most people, but a part of me wishes he had the Tommo accent. It would fully complete his personality to be just like his father's.
I am cleaning the dishes when Freddie asked to watch the Lion King, his favorite movie. They've been watching for 20 mins when I'm finally done with the dishes when I see them both sleeping on the couch. This is definitely my favorite sight in the world. I love seeing this side of soft Louis. Freddie curled up against his chest, Louis' arms protectively shielding him from anything and everything as he sleeps soundly.
I slowly and carefully take Freddie from Louis' arms, carrying him to his bedroom, making sure the baby monitor is on so we know he's okay throughout the night (yes I'm that person). After watching Freddie's chest go up and down a few times I tell myself it's okay to leave him to his slumber. Making my way back the living room my heart swells at the sight of sleepy Louis rubbing his eyes. "C'mon Lou, let's go to sleep" he doesn't get up but holds his arms out for me to carry him. Yes, this is definitely soft Louis.
I lay him down gently on his side of the bed, stripping us both down to our boxers before pulling the comforter over us. Even when Louis is sleepy, he still skillfully brings me to him, laying my head on his chest. I smile fondly at him, so thankful for him and our little family.
Author's Note: Omg this was so cheesy, sorry it was a little short. I always tell my friends I wish Freddie had the Tommo accent, but we also love Freddie for who he is and I love that we get to see him grow up. Breaks my heart that Freddie and Lou haven't seen each other in quarantine :( I start school in less than two weeks and I honestly haven't had the inspiration to write, but I want to get back on track as soon as possible. I hope you all are doing lovely.
