Chapter 3 - Oops

Paige's POV :
On the cold metal bleachers, sleepily watching Josh lose his game. Not to be mean or anything, but you can tell his team is getting nowhere. The Eagles scored 10 already. "Maybe he should ditch soccer." I whisper to Brooke. "Paige! That's not nice. We have to support Josh." She snaps at me. "Mom! I'm going to get some popcorn." I whisper to Mom pointing to the small stand by the East corner of the field. I start to step down, breathing in the fresh Summer air. "OUCH!" A rock had slipped my converses into the dirt behind the bleachers. My body aches all over and I start crying hysterically. Mom and Brooke rush over immediately. Even Josh stops mid-game to see what happened. The coach called 911 right away and before I knew it, I was in an ambulance with horrible pain. "Paige it's going to be ok." Mom tells me with tears. Brooke stands by my side, trying to comfort me. What about the vacation? That was all that was racing through my mind besides the deep injury.
Brooke's POV :
5 hours later, the doctor comes out with a clipboard and a not-so-good look on his face. "I'm sorry to say, but Paige has come across quite a few injuries." He clears his throat the continues. "She has a back and head concussion, a broken right arm, and a sprained left ankle." Mom looks so terrified and Josh stares at his feet. What has happened to my sister?
Chloe's POV :
I sob into the hotel room pillow and think about Paige. How could she dance with me? Could she come to the vacation? How long will this effect her? Mom comes in with some complimentary hot chocolate and popcorn. "I brought Bride Wars with us." She says. But even my favorite movie couldn't cheer me up now. I texted a get well message to Paige, hoping she could read it.
