Unexpected Surprises

It's Time

"Um what are you doing here?" Josie asked  Damien

"I just decided to stop by and see my daughter" he responded

"Um ok then I'm going to bed" Josie said as she and Derek made their way upstairs.

Damien came downstairs and headed towards the door.

"Maybe I shouldn't have came" he said

"Why not? She is your daughter. I'll talk to Josie in the morning I think it's time for you guys to talk for Aaliyah's sake."

"Ok then I'll see you soon" he said hugging me goodbye

Chris came back home late last night. I woke up to his muscular arms around my waist but not just that. The bed felt wet. Did I pee? Oh no my water had broken.

"Babe wake up" I yelled at Chris

He groaned. "What?" He said with his voice groggy.

"My water broke"

He got up immediately after I said those words.

"I'll get the baby bag and you get ready." He instructed me.

"Ok I'm gonna go wake Derek and give my mom a call."

I waddled over to Derek ' s  room.

"Derek!" I banged on his door

"What?!" He asked irritated coming out of his room

"My water broke" I said

"Oh my god. Do you need me to drive you guys?" He asked

"No Chris is driving us but I need you to watch Savannah. I'll call you so you can bring her later. I texted mom to tell her I was going into labor. She said she would meet us at the hospital. " I said

"Yea sure I'll watch her but text me or call me as soon as it's time" he said

We made it to the hospital just as my contractions came. Thankfully they helped me quickly.

My mom made it on time to help me with my breathing. For some reason my contractions were so much worse than my first birth.

We had been at the hospital since 8am it's now 3pm.

"Owww it hurts" I cried as Chris held my hand

"Don't worry babe the pain will go away just remember that it'll be worth it" he comforted me

My doctor came in a few seconds later.

"Hi Alison I'm here to check how much you've dialated" Dr. Liz said. "It looks like your 7 centimeters so your getting pretty close now. I also wanted to ask you if would like an epidural or if you'd like to feel a natrual birth." She asked

With Savannah I didn't need an epidural but with this one I'm pretty sure I would.

"Yes please" I said

"Alright the anesthesiologist will be here to give you the epidural" she said

I was given the epidural but I still felt a little pain. Of course it wasn't the same as it was but it still hurt.

2 Hours Later

Dr. Liz came in to see how far I had dialated.

"Ok looks like your 9 centimeters so we're gonna start getting ready" she said.

Chris was there with me. He hadn't left my side at all which I was thankful for. I asked him to text Derek and tell him it was time.

Eventually it was time to welcome my baby girl. I didn't wanna be rude but I did ask my mom to step out of the room because I only wanted it to be Chris and I to share this special moment. She seemed to understand.

"Alright Alison we're gonna get you into position to push. When we say to push you push" one of the doctors instructed me

"Ok push" she said

Chris was holding on to my hand and leg.

It hurt so much that for a second I almost gave up.

"Come on babe I see the head just push one more time" Chris said

I pushed with all my force but still heard nothing.

"One more big push and she'll be out" the said

"You can do this" Chris said as he kissed my forehead

I gave it all on the last one until I heard the sound of my baby girl.

"It's a girl" Dr. Lori said

"You did it babe" Chris said kissing me passionately.

They cleaned up my baby and laid her on my chest. I felt waterworks forming in my eyes as well as in Chris' s eyes.

"Hi beautiful. I'm your mommy" I cooed down at her as she opened her eyes. She had my eyes they were blue. She also had my hair. The rest of her facial features were from her dad.

Chris picked her up from my chest and started at her like he'd never seen something so precious.

"Hey princess. I'm your daddy. I can't wait to watch you take your first step and say your first word. Oh and definitely no dating until your 30" he cooed at her

I laughed. He came over to me and kissed me hard but then slowly ad our lips moved in sync.

"We make cute girls" he whispered in my ear. I smiled

"Would you like to allow the rest of your family in?" The doctor asked

"Yes please" answered

My mom came in with Derek and Josie behind them. I assumed they left the girls at home with the nanny.

Their faces were in awe.

My mom held her first then gave her to Derek.

"What's her name?" My mom asked

"Maleah Skylar Anderson" I replied

"Hi gorgeous I'm your uncle Derek. Your mom is my sister and your dad is my best friend. I love you very very much and I'm going to protect you from anyone who tries to hurt you. I'll even kill any guy who breaks your heart" he said to her

Josie stood there kind of nervous to hold her.

"Josie do you wanna hold her?" I offered

He hesitated for a little but then gave in.

"You guys make beautiful babies" Josie said

"Thanks" Chris and I chimed

" So where are Savannah and Aaliyah?" I asked

"There at home with the nanny" Derek said

"Ok well can you ask the nanny to bring them so they can meet their sister and cousin?"

"Yea sure I'll call her" Derek said.

"Babe dis you call your family?" I asked Chris

"Yea they were in London but they are taking a private jet to fly here. So they'll land in about an hour and drive here in two." He said

"Ok"

"Alright everybody visiting hours are over the new family needs to get some rest" the doctor said

Everyone exited out while I brest fed Maleah then fell off into a good sleep.
