The Date.

Maihua's POV

It's time. It's the time I've been waiting for. The time to show Kiah how much I want to be with her. I have my outfit laid out on my bed as I shower. I decided to wear a black button down shirt with black jeans and boots. I pair it with a couple of chains and rings. I brush my teeth for the fifth time and get dressed. I hop in my car and head to the store to buy Kiah a necklace. I pre-ordered it so when I get there it should be ready. I customized the necklace to say "Oh shit!" Cringe, I know. But it was the first words I said to her. I really like her and I'm ready to make her mine. I'm ready. I hope she's ready too.

Kiah's POV

I'm ready. I'm so, so ready. I'm ready for this date and I'm ready to tell Maihua how I feel about her. We've only been in the "non-official" stages for a couple months, but I'm ready to be her girlfriend. Maybe even forever. I'm showering. It feels like I've showered 5 times today. I chose my outfit this morning when I woke up. I'm wearing a red lace top and some ripped jeans. I put on the perfume Maihua got me for our 1 month of being friends. I curl my hair and put on a necklace or two. I pair the whole outfit with black high heel boots. As I'm finished getting ready I get a text from the one and only Maihua.

I probably don't have to say this but as promised, she was there in 30 minutes. I seriously don't know how she does it. When she arrived she knocked on my door and when I opened it, she was standing there with flowers. I accepted them and kissed her on the cheek. We got in the car and drove to the movies. We watched the live action version of Mulan. After that, we went to my favorite restaurant. Taco Bell. Pretty casual for a date but it was perfect. After everything she had planned was over we went back to my house. She came in and before I could offer her a snack or anything to drink, she turned me around and kissed me. Deeply. Not just a simple kiss but a passionate one. One that says I need you. I kissed her back and then pulled away after a couple of seconds. She then started spilling her feelings to me. "Kiah. I know we've only known each other for a couple of months, but that's all the time I need to realize that you're the one for me. I uhm. I bought this necklace."
I was speechless but still she pulled out the necklace and kept going. "I got it custom made to say "oh shit" the first words I've ever spoke to you. I like you Kiah I really do. And I would love it if you would be my girlfriend." I stood there tears in my eyes and slowly nodded my head. But as I processed everything I jumped into her arms and kissed her. She put the necklace on me and we kissed for a bit. That night everything was perfect. She ended up spending the night and we cuddled while watching a movie. We fell asleep holding each other. And I was truly happy.
