When she woke up, the sun was shining through the large windows to her right. She squinted as her eyes finally adjusted to the light and she was amazed by the beautiful room that greeted her. As she looked around, she noticed that everything was white with gold trim and even the carpet was white with gold sparkles through out it. This did not look like any guest room she had ever seen. Her eyes fell on a set of clothes laid out across a chair close to the door. They were a man's tunic, belt and trousers and she grinned, but before she could pull them on there was a knock on the door.

Samus heard a tiny voice call from the other side. She realized she couldn't understand her and she rushed to her helmet, pulling out an ear piece and putting it in."'Scuse me, sir?" the tiny voice spoke again. Samus opened the door and smiled down at the little girl who almost dropped the tray she was holding. "I'm sorry, miss. Do you know where Mister Samus is, by chance? I am to bring him breakfast."

"I am Samus," she said, motioning to her helmet on the trunk at the end of the bed. "Sorry for the misunderstanding."

"S-so you're..?" Samus nodded, still smiling down at the girl. "Oh no, Miss!" The girl suddenly exclaimed, setting down the tray of food and collecting the clothes. "These won't do, Miss! I must go get you proper clothing for a lady in the castle!"

"Oh! Ah- wait!" Samus tried to stop her, but she was already gone. Samus walked over to the window and looked out at the very beautiful kingdom below. After a while, Samus felt her stomach growl and she glanced over at the tray beside her. "I probably should eat to regain my strength," she said quietly, picking up a piece of bread.

"That's the idea." Samus turned to see Marth standing in the doorway and smiling at her. She noticed he was holding a beautiful blue and white long sleeve dress. "The maid, Delilah, told me you weren't a man like we thought, so I had to see for myself." Samus nodded, understanding his thought process. "And I brought you a dress to change into." He held it out for her.

"I would have been happier with the tunic," she mumbled, gently taking the dress from him.

His smile didn't falter at her words, and he just continued speaking. "Please come and see me when you are done. You are welcome to bathe if you wish. Delilah will be waiting outside for you when you are done to show you the way."

"Thank you," Samus bowed slightly and Marth nodded in return and smoothly turned and left. "Delilah?" The girl peeked around the door frame. "I'm going to take a bath. I may need your help getting into this dress when I'm done."

"Yes, Miss. Why don't you sit down and eat and I'll go run the bath for you."

"Oh, thank you." Delilah walked into a large door to the left and Samus could hear the water start. She sat the dress down on the chair and made the bed, then moved the dress over to the massive bed as she ate. She sat down by the window and sighed at the alluring scenery; It was a nice change of pace for once.

"Miss? Your bath is ready."

Samus turned and smiled at the girl, "Thank you." She started for the washroom but the girl spoke up.

"Uh- uhm... Miss? Do you want me to wash your hair for you, Miss?"

"No, that's alright," Samus smiled. "Thank you, though." She pulled to door closed and took off her zero suit. As she sank into the bath she closed her eyes. Taking a deep breath, she washed off her weariness. When she was done she climbed out and dried off, wrapping a plush towel around her body and then she began drying her long blonde hair. "Delilah?" Samus called out, opening the door. "I'm ready for you to-" Samus stopped, making eye contact with a man she hadn't seen before. He had been talking to Delilah, but he quickly turned away from Samus, seeing what she was wearing.
