'God the stars are beautiful in the desert' you thought to yourself as you began getting out of your seat and jumping off the wing of the now landed ship.

You've never been to a desert planet before. You've never seen this much sand. It was beautiful in its own right, but the real treasure was the brilliant sky that canopied the dunes. It looked like a million jewels had been suspended, not worrying about gravity pulling them back down to the barren landscape you walked upon. Poe picked up your bags and handed you your blaster. You had brought almost a small arsenal on the mission. That odd feeling in the force still lay in the back of your head. With no specific idea of what it truly meant you tried your hardest to push it from your thoughts. You didn't want to scare Poe or bring up something when it could turn out to be some measly overreaction. You walked side by side over to the small village just fifty yards away and asked a townsperson for San Tekka, the man who we were sent to in order to retrieve the map. The older lady you had asked was dressed in heavy robes that had a thin layer of sand covering every inch of her attire. It must've been tough living out here, but her smile told you otherwise. These people were happy with little. You wish you could live a more complacent life like them. The woman brought you both to a small hut that laid near the back of the village,

"San! The resistance is here!" She shouted inside.

Just moments later an old man peered through the curtain, soon ushering Poe inside. He talked calmly to the man asking for the map. They spoke for a short while as you sat guard outside the hut. A darkness entered the force. A deep impenetrable veil of it.  You weren't exactly sure what you were feeling but you knew it was nothing good. You went inside the hut, hurrying over to your partner,

"Poe, we have to go. I feel something," you whispered into his ear.

He looked at you with concern, he knew that if it garnered you telling him of it, it was not good. Poe bolted up with the map now in hand. Just as he began to thank San Tekka, screaming erupted outside the hut, and just seconds later the piercing sound of blaster shots filled the air. Panic arose in you. The darkness you had felt began to suffocate the air around you. Its presence stronger than ever before. Only one thought coursed through your mind, 'Run.'

You did just that. You ran with Poe in hand with every bit of strength you could. You masked your presence with such strength that your vision began to blur, but you kept moving. That map meant everything to you. It didn't matter if you got out alive at this point, it just mattered that Poe got home, with the map in hand. Both you and Poe made it to the X-Wing, just a few small dunes away from the village.

"Poe," You called out to your partner but with no response, "Poe!" You yelled at him, still trying to keep a low profile. He was putting the map inside one of BB-8's compartments, not listening to a word you were saying, "Poe what are you doing? We have to go right now!" You were beyond angry with him, the anxiety of the situation doing you in.

"I do have a plan. You and BB-8 are going to start up the ship, I'll distract them for as long as I can," He started coming up to you and pulling your face close to his, "Please just do as I say, I'll be right behind you," he pleaded with you.

You looked at him, deep into his eyes that swirled with too many emotions to count. Love, fear, panic, hope, determination. You didn't know which one to focus on, but you knew you had to listen to him, no matter how much you didn't want to. It felt as if this were to be your last moment with him. You stained his every detail into your mind. You didn't want to forget a single detail, even if there were blaster shots whizzing past your heads every second.

"Okay, Okay," You complied, "But you better get your sorry ass into this ship or I am going to beat you into the next millenium," you joked lightly, trying to calm your shaking hands and thoughts.
