Chapter 21

Boring chapter warning

I started spending more time with Tia. There was nothing romantic, just us chilling. We talked a lot. He even helps me study. We were chilling on his bed when there was a knock on the door, i was too lazy to go so i kicked Tia off the bed. He gave me the fuck you eyes and i winked at him. "Are the two of you done making babies! I want to see my best friend!" I had to laugh at Alejandro. He knew me and Mattia aren't official and that we weren't doing that. "Anna is in my room." I heard Alejandro coughing. "Fuck, you better not have gotten my bestie pregnant!" Alejandro bursts threw Mattia's bedroom door to see me full dressed with all my note books. "Oh..." i had to laugh at his stupidity sometimes. "Alejandro if i ever hear the word 'pregnant' come out of your mouth again, i will put one of Tia's dirty soccer socks in it." I try not to laugh and pull an innocent face. Alejandro and Mattia both cringe. Alejandro jumped on the bed next to me. "Now where must i lay?" Alejandro and i look at each other and grin. "On the chair." We both said in harmony. Mattia didn't look so impressed with that, but complied anyways. "Whipped," Alejandro coughs into his arm so that only we hear it.

The three of us chill for most of the morning. I decided to make it a group day and call Roshaun, Robert and Kairi over. I planned to go to Mrs. Polibio's place. The boys hardly spent time with Mattia since he was always busy with me. He actually thought that he could convince me to stay and hang out with the boys, funny. "Aunty I'm home!" I shouted as I entered the house. "In the kitchen Anna!" I love Mrs.Polibio, she is like my second mom at this stage. I already know that she loves me more than Mattia. "So what is on the menu today Anna?" she asks. "Well the boys are all hanging out and i give them thirty minutes before they get here." We both laugh. "I guess it's sausage on the grill then." "Yes! Hot dogs!" I took the sausage out of the deep freeze while Mrs. Polibio cut rolls and Mr. Polibio set up the grill. I decided too play basket ball with Mattia's brother until the boys got here. Exactly thirty minutes later they all knocked on the door. I deserve a medal.

While the boys where busy playing video games and making tik toks I heard a knock on the door. Since non of them wanted to answer it and Mattia's family went out for shopping i had to open it. I opened the door and groaned when i saw her blond hair. "Where is my boyfriend?" she pushed pass me and walked straight into Mattia's room. Who the hell does she think she is. I swear if Mattia is still playing her on, hy sal weet hoe die Hemel lyk.

"Tia, babe I'm here, lets go," Cynthia said in front of all the boys. Everyone except Mattia looked away. Alejandro was biting his hand, he knew shit was about to go down. I didn't care about her words. Mattia didn't even react. But when she thought she could grab his arm and drag him out to follow her. I held her hand before she could even touch Mattia. "Do not even try touching my boyfriend, okay Barbie. Now walk on out of here before you embarrass yourself even more than you already have." She gave me a disgusted look. "And who are you to talk to me like that?" she asked. "I-am-his-girlfriend. So take whatever pride you have left and leave." My fists were just about ready to punch the smile off her face until she said, "You hear that guys, she admitted it, finally." I looked around and everyone was trying to cover up a smile. All of these faggots where in on this!Mattia throws his arms over me and kissed my cheek. "You all think this is cute and funny! Fuck you all, I'm out of here." I stormed out of the room and the boys started laughing. Until they realized that I don't have a car and that i would be walking back to campus. They all chased after me and said sorry, but i wasn't going to listen to them. That was a dirty blow. They just made me confess to something that wasn't even true or i guess it kind of is true. I made it down Mattia's street before someone tossed me over their shoulders. "Nice ass babe." I rolled my eyes. "You too Mattia."

I decided to give everyone the silent treatment. They all got so annoyed with me Mattia had to take me home. He didn't even stay with me, because the boys were still busy with some video game. I walked around the outhouse until I remembered that I have more friends than just the boys. I called Derek up to come and save me. He showed up with some romantic comedy and a whole bunch of junk food. Derek has adopted me as his younger sister and i have no problem if it means this is how i get treated. My phone started to ring in the middle of Isn't It Romantic. Derek paused the movie while I answered the video call. "Anna!" I heard the accent and i already knew who it was, even through the blury screen. "Phobe! When did you get a new number?" The video finally cleared up and I could finally see my best friend from back home. "You're not allowed to talk. When last did you call?" i kept quiet. Then we both broke out into random conversation until Derek made himself known by coughing in my face. "Oh yeah, Phobe this is Derek. Derek this is Phobe." Maybe i should introduce the two when Phobe comes to Denver next year.
