Knot

He was losing his mind. For the past month, Arthit had been missing. Despite what people believed, that he had been kidnapped by those robbers Knot knew better. He knew that it was most likely that Arthit had run away from him, just like he had originally planned to do. But things had changed, at least for him.

When he had first met Arthit, they had been classmates. They had a few classes together and Knot had liked Arthit because he had always been smart, shy and he seemed kind. They had worked together on a couple of projects too. It had been through Arthit that he had met that love of his life; Luna.

Luna had been everything for him. He had never known that he could love a person as much as he had loved her. Everything changed, the moment that she passed. He remembered feeling as though he could not breathe when he had first heard the news from Luna's mother five years ago.

From what he had originally understood, the twins had been out together. Luna had asked Arthit that they go out to buy a birthday gift for their mother. They were on their way back home, Luna had been the one driving when the car crashed against a street light. She had apparently had a stroke. Luna died upon impact while Arthit had a concussion and a few minor scratches. Knot had asked repeatedly, what happened after Arthit had woken up.

Arthit could not tell him what exactly happened. All that he told him was that he had screamed and called for help but in the end, there was nothing that he nor the paramedics that had arrived on the scene could do. Had the stroke not killed her the injuries in her body from the crash would have ended her life anyway. That was what the doctors had told him. At first, Knot had believed it. He had mourned and cried for Luna and yet it never seemed like enough.

He was in so much pain because he had loved her so much yet, that feeling of not being able to breathe only grew bigger. In the end, he had chosen to leave in order to get away in order to forget. It was only after he had boarded a plane to the U.S and had left that he knew what had happened. Luna's mother, Sirikit had sent him a letter which told her what she had discovered.

Arthit had killed Luna. He had planned it. She had caught him on the phone talking to someone on the phone saying he had planned the accident. Why had he done this? Because he had wanted to go off to Paris. Because Sirikit could only afford for one of them to go to college and had chosen Luna? Why had Arthit done this?

"Why did he had to choose my baby? Why could he have not done this to me instead." Sirikit had cried to him after he had called her.

"You have to report him to the police. Why haven't you?"

"Because he's still my son and he is the only thing I have left. Despite how I feel because he is my daughter's killer he is still my son and when I look at his face I can't help but see Luna as well."

"Luna deserves Justice! He needs to pay for what he did! I will kill him myself if I have to."

"Please! If you ever loved Luna you won't hurt him."

That was the last thing Luna's mother had said to him before she hung up. Two years passed and  Knot could not forget. Instead, he only grew angrier and more resentful. He spent the next two years, plotting away at what would be the best revenge. It came to him once he had remembered Luna telling him about Arthit being gay.

When he came back to Thailand, the first thing that he did was search for Sirikit. He told her about his intention of marrying Arthit.

"Why would you want to do this? How can you do this?"

"You refuse to have him jailed. What other choice do I have?" Knot had said to her.

"What do you plan to do with him?" Sirikit had questioned in tears.
