Kongpob

There's a lot that he regrets. He had not wanted to send Arthit away. If he had it his way, if he was selfish he would have allowed himself to stay with Arthit. But he knew that they needed this. Arthit needed to clear his head, he needed to decide if what he felt for Kongpob was really love or if it was gratitude. He had talked to his mother extensively about this topic. Despite the fact that he was feeling heartbroken, he knew that it was the right thing to do. Arthit needed to find himself and grow into a person that he had not been allowed to be.

Even if in the end, that would mean they would never be together. Everyone had always put their needs before Arthit's. Selfish people, evil people had always surrounded an angel-like Arthit and they had not only clipped his wings but they had done so in the most painful ways possible. They had ripped away at each feather one by one and had inflicted wounds on Arthit so deep it would take a long time for the pretty man to heal.

When Kongpob had told Mr. Jaturapoom and Forth that he hoped to send Arthit away and that he hoped that they could accompany him so that they could finally be a family and connect properly both men had been surprised by this.

"Don't you love him?" Forth questioned.

"I love him too much. That's why I want him to go. It's for his own good. He needs to find himself and he needs to accomplish his dreams that people have always taken away from him." He said to them.

"You won't come with him?" Mr. Jaturapoom questioned.

"My life is here with Yo."

"And if Arthit chooses to stay in Paris? If he decides that he's fallen out of love with you then? If he moves on?" Dusit questions.

"It's his choice. I'll accept it... He's never been given a choice. All his life people have dictated what he should do. While he's stayed with me in my home with my son and my family he's always talked about Paris and dreams of studying there. How can I take that away from him? I don't have the heart to be cruel and selfish to Arthit who deserves the world... I can't; I won't hold him back as everyone else has done." Kongpob tells them. Both men are silent as they hear Kongpob say this after a few moments it is Mr. Jaturapoom that speaks.

"Thank you. For loving my son so selflessly. Everyone at some point has let him down including me. I was a father incapable of protecting my children for so long... You're a good man Kongpob. Should Arthit decide to come back and if he decides he still loves you I won't get in the way of that. I have no doubt you'll love and cherish him more than anyone else in this world."

Tears fall down Kongpob's eyes as he recalls that conversation with Arthit's father and brother. He's so shaken by what happened a few hours ago. He's in the hospital. Arthit is lying on a bed, his head is bandaged up and his leg is levitated up high. When the car had crashed into him, somehow the man had floored last minute and only Arthit's leg had been hit. They were lucky it was only a fracture and Arthit did not need surgery. Still, it had sent Arthit off the ground and Kongpob's heart had dropped when he had seen the pretty man on the floor and bleeding from his leg and head.

An ambulance had been called, Knot and his men had fled the scene and Kongpob was left to sort things out. He had ridden with Arthit on the ambulance, he had not needed to inform the Jaturapooms about what happened, their security guards let them know. By the time the ambulance reached the hospital, everyone else trickled in soon after. Kongpob had not told anyone that Arthit had tried to take his life. But that was still making him shake and further drove his hate for Knot.

He wished he could have killed that bastard. He had not had enough even now, that he had driven Arthit to this corner. Kongpob contained his tears as he held on to Arthit's hand. The pretty man was sleeping peacefully. Everyone had gone home the previous night with the exception of him. Arthit's friends and family had all agreed that it should be him at Arthit's side when he woke up.
