"Ishika Saha....Red House"
The teacher was calling out the students' names and their houses for the sports.Ishika was proud to be a part of Red House,surely Red was the best.No other house was as glorious as Red.She was always excited to take part in Interhouse Competitions and represent Red House.
"Children,as you know,Arittrabha has left our school.So there will be a little change in your houses.Arjya,Anwesha you two will be in Green House from now on.As for Ishika,you would be in Yellow House."
That came as a shock for Ishika.Any other house would do...but not Yellow House.Yellow House was always a loser house ,in everything.
2017:
"The red house captain was telling that we don't have a chance to win this time,"the yellow house vice-captain didn't show it but Ishika could tell from his voice that it was eating him from inside.After all,he was a beloved junior of hers.
"Souvik,you know what,yellow house people don't talk,their efforts do....so stop fidgeting.Of course we would win.And yeah,don't wear your badge tomorrow,you know Sayanti would scream at you if by chance we lose and she sees that you are wearing that thing!"
"Yeah,I know Ishika di.She has got superstitions about that,"Souvik laughed.
Ishika smiled to herself.Yes,she had fallen in love with yellow house over the years.It wasn't only a house for her now....it was a sentiment.
