Gayatri came to WWACES the same year as Debankana.But she was a nerd unlike Debankana and nobody really cared about her except Debankana and Prerona.
Gayatri is generally not what her name resembles-the mighty Goddess Durga.Rather she is a bibliophile who once finished 'Da Vinci Code' in one day,gives random references from random books which half of the time people can't figure out,cracks lame jokes and then laughs at them,fangirls over Justin Bieber,likes to eat junk food and dreams to have a figure like Audrey Hepburn.
I will give you an instance so that you can understand what kind of a nincompoop she is.We were in class 6 when this happened.The annual exhibition of our school was knocking at the door and we were seriously lagging behind.I had asked her to bring a mount board so that we could complete our model.The next day she comes up and says,"Guys,I couldn't get a mount board.But don't worry....do whatever you had to do with my drawing board."
But beside this nincompoop side of hers,is a rather strong side.She is extremely loyal to her friends,a true Gryffindor in that sense ,and she never supports something wrong....she will speak the truth on your face,no matter how harsh it is.
Gayatri is my official secret-keeper and a very good one at that.She masters in the art of dooming people by giving them advice as baseless as the tip of a broken pencil.She is affectionately called Gatu by her friends and is a talented poet.I remember she had once written a poem for me--'Tuli',referring to my name which also means the same.
[In Bengali,'Tuli' means 'paintbrush'.]
Though often overlooked,Gayatri is a true gem of a person and when it comes to friendship she is GOLD.
I will end Gayatri's chapter here.But remember she is gonna have a damn sassy comeback when this batch enters elementary school.
