The first time I saw those beautiful amber eyes was when I was in class 1.School was over and I was waiting for my pool car....when I saw this beautiful girl playing around with her friend,probably Konkona.Apparently she had come to take her admission exam.
My first reaction on seeing her was -"How is this person so beautiful?" and as a result,I smartly went up to her and asked,"Have you come to take admission?"
She nodded her head,and gave that sweet smile of hers which can basically kill people.I don't remember what happened after that-my pool car probably arrived and I waved her a goodbye and went home.
First day of Class 2:
"Class,we have two new friends with us today...Debankana Nath and Gayatri Das."
Debankana Nath -that girl from that day....with amber eyes,auburn hair and pink cheeks.It didn't take much time for the entire class to be friends with her.She was a sweet girl,quite intelligent and had a mellifluous voice.Most importantly,she had an awesome handwriting.She has maintained it till now,you know and yes,she is still that breathtakingly beautiful.But boys ,don't get excited...she is taken...she is in love with Shinchan.And trust me when I tell you that she is the Devil in the form of a really sweet kid.Honestly,even Loki,the god of mischief,would bow down to her.Debankana can slit your throat and still keep on smiling innocently....okay,fine I didn't mean it literally.
I wasn't really that close to Debankana when we were in class 2.But friendship gradually blossomed over the years and we eventually became permanent partners in crime,especially in pestering Ritankar and Anwesha.We had several fights over the years though, but it doesn't matter much now.
Debankana is the only person who thinks sensibly during times of danger.And yes,she never really screams while fighting...she seldom fights with people actually.But when she does,she becomes fierce.Another thing before I end Debankana's chapter-she never stops laughing once she starts and note that her laughter is more contagious than coronavirus.
