it was the day i had to leave you behind. i was lucky enough to have your support and reassurance, but it was unfortunate that i couldn't bring you with me. but i know you had your own goals as well, and it was definitely not coming with me. i guess this was the price to pay when two star athletes date.

before my flight, we went on a date for the last time. it was perfect— as perfect could ever be. we were laying on the grass as we watched the clouds go by, talking about our future goals when i come back, how we wanted to get married, build our house, reminiscing about embarrassing moments, like we usually do.
