*Daisy's Point Of View*

I woke up the next morning really early. I couldn't sleep well due to the events of last night. Hearing them voices, the talk with dad and him seeing everything through Legilimency. I feel much better now that he's seen it all but I'm scared that the adoptive parents might try and find me.

Nobody was awake when I went in the common room. It was only 6:30am though. I sat down and read a book. It was a book about defensive spells. Somehow, I fell asleep reading the book.

A door slamming woke me up. I saw someone walking down the stairs. Any guesses who?

"Daisy, You're up early." Draco said, sitting next to me on the sofa.

"Couldn't sleep so I came down here." I sighed. I should ask my dad about that potion for dreamless sleeps.

"Oh, what's on your mind? You seem confused. Something happened last night. Tell me."

"Well after everyone left, we all said our part on what happened. After we were dismissed, my dad wanted to talk to me. I let him use Legilimency on me so he could see my past and it's just messed up."

"I'm so sorry Dais, your past shouldn't of happened. You're safe now, at Hogwarts. You have a loving father and a lot of friends."

"Dray, your such a good friend, I'll eventually forget the past. Not yet but soon." I smiled at him.

"What are friends for, eh?" He smirked.

"Well you're the friend that I can tell things too and get wise comments back. Very helpful if you ask me." I laughed.

"Come here." he said, bringing me in for a hug. He continued in a whisper in my ear, "I'm always here for you, don't forget that." when his grip loosened, we decided that a good breakfast was in order, before Transfigurations.

For breakfast, I ate quite a lot. It put my mind off things. I ate an English breakfast and about five slices of toast. I totally was hungry.

We headed for Transfigurations ten minuets early. I decided to sit next to Hermione because she was alone. The Slytherins kept on giving me glares but I gave them a glare that my dad gives people when they're in trouble. They soon looked away.

"Hermione, are you alright?" I asked her. She looked a bit nervous. Like she wanted to say something but was unsure.

"I'm alright, why did you sit here? I thought you would of sat with the Slytherins?"

"Hermione, you know you're a better friend to me than half of the Slytherins put together." I chuckled. She smiled.

"Could I have your attention, please?" McGonagall's voice echoed the room. everyone turned to look at her. I noticed that there was a mouse or a rat in front of everyone in the room "Right. Now, today, we will be transforming animals into water goblets. Like so," she picked up her wand and walked over to her bird. "One, two, three, Vera Verto." The bird transformed into a beautiful Hogwarts water goblet. Cool.

She told Ron to have a go and his rat, Scabbers turned into a water goblet except, it was all hairy and had a tail.

"That wand needs replacing Mr. Weasley." She said sternly. Hermione's hand shot up in the air and she looked like she was going to burst. "Yes, Miss. Granger?" She replied.

"Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about the chamber of secrets?" She asked. Professor Mcgonagall looked shocked as it was nothing to do with the lesson.

"Very well, you all know, Of corse, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witches and wizards of the age: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. Now, three of the founders coexisted quite harmoniously. One did not."

"Three guesses who." Ron sniggered, making the Gryffindor's laugh. The Slytherins glared at him.

"Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed Magical learning should be kept within all-magic families. In other words, pure-bloods. Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school. Now, according to legend, Slytherin had built a chamber in this castle, known as the chamber of secrets. Though, shortly before departing, he sealed it until that time when his own true heir returned to the school. The heir alone would be able to open the chamber and unleash the horror within, and by so doing purge the school of all those, in Slytherins view, were unworthy to study magic."

"Muggle-borns." Hermione sighed next to me.

I raised my hand "Yes, Daisy?" Mcgonagall replied.

"Professor, I'm confused. Would the beast that lies in the chamber purge anyone who isn't pure-blood? So half-bloods too? Even if we're in Slytherin?" I asked quite scared.

"That is unknown. Most half-blood families are a mixture of Muggle or Muggle Born blood and Half blood or pure blood. Like yours Daisy and many people in this room. So, we don't know what would happen."

"So, this means the true Heir is at Hogwarts?"

"I'm afraid so." she sighed and looked at the class. "Well, naturally, the school has been searched many times. No such chamber has been found."

"Professor? What exactly does legend tell us lies within the chamber?"

"Well, the chamber is said to be home to something that only the heir of Slytherin can control. It's said to be the home of a monster."

At least half the class looked worried. After that we were dismissed. I caught up with the golden trio. "Hey you lot." I smiled.

"Hi Dais." Harry smiled at me.

"How is my little brother?" I asked in a mocking voice.

"I'm not that little, your an hour older than me. I'm good, how are you?" He asked.

"Splendid." I replied sarcastically.

"Do you think it's true? Do you think there really is a chamber of secrets?" Ron asked.

"Yes. Couldn't you tell? McGonagall is worried. All the teachers are."

"The heir of Slytherin has returned to Hogwarts. The question is, who is it?" I asked.

"Let's think. Who do we know who thinks all muggle-borns are scum?" Ron said coldly.

"If you're talking about Malfoy--" Hermione said. Ron cut her off.

"Of corse. You heard him! You'll be next mudbloods."

"It can't be Draco." I was shocked.

"I heard him. But Malfoy, the heir of Slytherin?"

"Well maybe Ron is right, girls. I mean, look at his family. The whole lot of them have been in Slytherin for centuries." Harry said.

"Crabbe and Goyle must know! Maybe we could trick them into telling."

"This is where I fit in this perfectly. If you need to ever get in the Slytherin common room, that's my job." I laughed.

"Even they aren't that thick. But there might be another way. Daisy you'll come in handy in this. Mind you, it would be difficult. Not to mention, we would be breaking about fifty school rules. And, it'll be dangerous, very dangerous." Hermione looked a bit worried but I know she'll do it.

We all said our goodbyes and I headed off for my next lesson without the Gryffindor's. The whole day I was thinking about the chamber and Heir of Slytherin. What if it is Draco?
