*Snape's Point Of View*

I had woken up, feeling stressed. I didn't know if it was due to the Daisy incident or the chat with Albus. My eyes were bloodshot and puffy.

I walked to breakfast, my cloak blowing behind me. I didn't see why everyone was scared of me. Most of the kids at this school knew I was a death eater, they had worked that out for themselves.

I looked down at the Slytherin table from the staff table. All the familiar faces, chatting away to their friends, minus one. My daughter. I had even checked the Gryffindor table. Nothing.

I had really messed up big this time. I knew I had potions with the third year Slytherins and Gryffindors next. I would apologise to her then, after lessons of course.

"Severus, are you okay?" Minerva asked. Minerva was one of the nicest people I've met. She was like a mother figure to me. She's been there for me since my first year at Hogwarts and honestly, she didn't give a damn that I was in Slytherin.

"I'm fine, Minerva." I lied, blocking out everything else. I knew she would see through the lie. She could read anyone like a book.

"Severus, don't be silly. I've known you for almost 23 years, I can tell when you're lying." This woman was wiser than I thought.

"It's just Daisy. I'm worried about her." I sighed. There was no way I could lie to this woman. She would probably find out soon enough.

"Speaking of Daisy, where is she?" She looked at me curiously.

"That's the problem. I haven't seen her since last night when I-" I cut myself off. I had said too much.

"When you?" He looked at me, peering over her glasses.

"When I hit her... I didn't mean to. I spoke to Albus. I have to apologise, Minerva." She gasped.

"Severus, why?" She looked at me in an apologetic way.

"We got into an argument, she used underage magic over the holidays. I wanted to talk to her about how serious it was. My short temper doesn't really help." I tried to laugh but couldn't. This seriously was hurting me.

"Severus, If I know about this girl, she's a perfect mixture of you and Lily. It will take some time, but I know she will forgive you." She smiled at me.

"Thank you, Minerva." My voiced softened. I was becoming weak with my emotions. I had changed dramatically since I found out I had a daughter.

I got up--hardly touching my breakfast--and headed to my classroom. It was cold and gloomy, I actually liked it this way.

Students started piling in from both houses. I saw Draco Malfoy and his group, and Potter and his group. Daisy was missing from both of them. I did the class register but there was no Daisy Snape. She had missed her first lesson with me. "Alright, I want you all to copy the text from page Six, five times. No questions asked. Get on with it." I said to the class in my cold voice. "Mr Malfoy, Mr Potter, please come here." I called to them both. The class looked up at both of them. "Did I say your names? No. Ten points from Gryffindor." The Gryffindors sighed and the Slytherins sniggered. "I won't hesitate to take points from Slytherin today." I glared at them all and they soon started working again.

"Yes, sir?" Malfoy looked at me. Potter didn't make eye contact with me. After all, the boy hated me. He had Lily's eyes, the first thing I fell In love with.

"Have any of you seen Daisy today?" I looked at both of them. They both shook their heads.

"The last time I saw Daisy was on the train when she passed out. I haven't seen her since." Potter said and I nodded my head.

"The last time I saw Daisy was when you stopped her after dinner. I haven't see her since." Malfoy looked worried. I knew him and Daisy were really good friends. They both have the same interests. They kind of click together.

"Okay, return to your seats and get on with your work." They both nodded and walked away. Gosh Ive messed up badly.

----

The rest of the day had gone quite fast. There was no Daisy at lunch, or dinner. I was quite worried for her. She hadn't attended lessons all day. I was constantly asked questions by all the teachers.

"Severus, May I speak to you in my office?" Albus asked, breaking me out of my thoughts. I was currently watching the outskirts of the castle, sending away dementors if they came too close to the castle.

My patronus, a doe. Just like Lily's. They change when you fall in love. It's always been Lily. Normally, a child's patronus will take the form of their parents patronus. Hopefully, Daisy's will be a doe.

I walked behind Albus, following him to his office. "Liquorice-wands." Albus said at the Eagle statue, that his his office.

"Severus, it has come to my attention that Daisy never attended her classes today." He sighed.

"This is all my fault. Albus, I don't know what to do." I tried to hide my emotions, but my voice was way to soft.

"She'll come round. I'm concerned though. She hasn't eaten anything today in the great hall. This really has hurt her."

"Tell me something I don't know, Albus. This is all my fault. It's because I promised her!" I shouted. He was slightly taken aback.

"Severus, tomorrow, I'm going to make her come to my office. You will also come and apologise. Even if it takes the whole day."

"And you think that will work?" I looked at him, my eyebrows raised.

"Trust me, Severus. It will work. You really love your daughter, don't you?"

"Yes, I do and I messed up with her." I cried. I need to stop being so emotional.

"I remember when I first brought her here. You refused to take her in, until you looked at her. Severus, may I ask you what changed your mind that day?" He looked at me and I nodded.

"I looked into her eyes and saw Lily. I knew she was mine when I took her to Ollivanders. He recognised her as a Snape instantly." I felt happy at the memory. "When I knew she was mine, I came to you and you wasn't even going to tell me. You were going to make me work it out for myself?" I looked at him. He smiled and nodded.

"Severus, my dear boy. It's obvious she's yours. You don't even have to look at her eyes to know she's also Lily's. She's powerful, clever and if I might say, has a very big personality, just like Lily. She gets all her skills in Potions and Defence against the Dark Arts from you. She's going to do great things when she's older, Severus. She needs you." He smiled at me.

"I know she does. And I also know the girl didn't get her Hogsmeade letter signed. She's also a bit forgetful." I chuckled a bit.

"I will tell Minerva that she's aloud to go." He smiled at me.

"Thank you, goodbye Albus." I said before walking over to the door.

"Don't forget my words, Severus. There will be a time when she needs you the most. She loves you very much." He said as I walked out the door.

'She loves you' it made me happy just to think that I had a daughter. I loved her very much and she loved me.

I needed to go to her tomorrow and apologise. It wasn't a thing to think about. I had to do it.
