Maddy's Talent

The sleepover

I sat inside the clear porch,I luckily did at least have the porch keys.Luckily Kat had the idea to put a chair inside of it.I was playing candy crush on my phone,yes I am obsessed with it!

While I was playing candy crush and getting a new high score I was interrupted by a car hooting.I glanced at the vehicle and in the driver's seat I could clearly see Jack smirking.I really didn't want to know why he was just there doing nothing.

"So are you coming in?!"
Jack shouted rephrasing his words to a question.

No...I'm going to sleep under the stars and the tempature is going to -8 degrease!"
I replied very sarcastically.Jack chuckled and I stood up and swung my bag behind me and walked towards Jack's car and sat on the seat behind him.

"So..off to my house then?"
Jack asked awkwardly

"No to the moon!"
I replied sarcastically.He just moaned and I giggled.
It took us a while to get to his house. We didn't talk,we were constantly distracted by the constant hums of the traffic and the sounds of my distracting candy crush.

We finally arrived at Jack's house and it was suprisingly very big,but not as big as our house.

Jack unlocked the door and immediately the delicious smell of spaghetti floated into my nostrils.
I could see him staring at me and I immediately stopped sniffing the scent in.

"Yeah,sorry I'm making spaghetti...do you want some?"Jack asked kindly as he knew that I was really desperate for some.

I nodded my head violently and licked my upper lip.I knew I must have been acting weirdly but I didn't care.

"Ok!"I replied a little too desperately.

He chuckled again and walked down the hallway towards his huge kitchen.

"Soo...are you alone in this house?"
I asked curiously,walking down towards the kitchen and sitting on the chair.

"No,it's just me."
Jack mumbled uncomfortably and he then suddenly froze for a minute and formed a frown before going back to steering the delicious sauce.

"What's wrong?"
I asked,what did I say to offend him?

"Nothing,everything is ok."
Jack replied he snuffed his nose and then placed the portions of spaghetti into two identical plates and carried them towards the table.He then cautiously filled two glass cups of sparkling water.I then noticed a tear running down his cheek.

After we finished our bowls of spaghetti I stood up to put my dishes in the sink until a hand grabbed my arm,I looked back suprised.

"It's ok,I'll do it."
Jack suggested.I smilled and then gulped my drink down.

"Where am I going to sleep?"
I asked before realising that there was no sofa.

"Eh...since it's only me I didn't really need one."
Jack replied awkwardley,who could survive without a sofa!!

"Soo...I sleep in the bed and you sleep in the floor?"
I asked selfishly,I knew I was not going to sleep on the ground and I honestly just did not want to sleep on the cold wood floor.

"What ever!"
Jack replied as if it was nothing I didn't think he would agree to my proposal.

We were really tired it was 10:00pm amd Jack had finished washing up the plates.
Ring ring

It was my phone.I picked it up and glanced at it,it was Kat I quickly tapped the recieve button and swung it to my ear.

"Hello."I said puzzeld to why she was calling me?

"Maddy where are you,I'm at the house worried sick!"

Kat shouted irritated.Jack walked into the room and before he was going to say something I put my finger on my lip.He knew I wanted him to be quiet so he walked out of the room leaving me alone with my phone.

"I went to the house and called you several times but you didn't pick up so Jack took me to his house because it was freezing cold so don't try to blame this on me,I'm staying over at Jack's house anyways!"

I yelled before hanging up.I positioned my pillow and laid my head on it,I stayed up for a while and then dozed off to sleep.

well i hope this wasn't too boring i'm having a hard time thinking about things to write:-(well i will try and make my chaps more intresting;-)
