 ...

At 12 Grimmauld Place, it was silence everywhere.

Harry got up. It was the day of returning to Hogwarts. Teddy was going to stay with his grandmother Andromeda Tonks, the middle daughter of Cygnus and Druella Black, as well as the middle sister of Bellatrix and Narcissa, until he would get back. She had generously offered her help from time to time, in between travels and work, and so had Edward Tonks her very cheerful and loving husband. They love Teddy dearly, he has his mother's eyes.

Harry took a shower and brushed his teeth, thinking how this year would be peaceful and without life-threatening quests. Peace was all Harry wanted. He packed his bag and his suitcase case, not forgetting the invisibility cloak and the marauders map, pieces of his father, his friends, those who kept him alive and saved the world even long after their deaths.

He also packed Draco's former wand neatly in a leather pouch, as he didn't really use it but thought it would come to help again like it did during the war. Furthermore, he packed a photo of Teddy and himself, one from the Dumbledore's Army, and one with Ron and Hermione, taken months ago, and went to hug Teddy goodbye. He kissed Teddy Lupin again and then hugged Andromeda, leaving the house under her control.

"See you all for Christmas, send my thanks to Edward for the letter he sent to the Ministry for me, also uh...write me for anything."-Harry said, taking one last look at the house. All the sad memories flooding him in again. He fixed Sirius Broken mirror on the hallway and informed Andromeda how it works in case of emergency. He placed the broken half on his backpack.

"Of course! Take care, darling. Promised Molly to take good care of both you."- Andromeda said louder so he could hear her as he left with one last wave of this hand. Teddy gave a toddler-ish wave copying her, bubbling with excitement as his hair turned half yellow.

Harry left knowing that everything was left in the right hands, and noticed Ron and Hermione were already there waiting for him as always, waiting for him and then Apparate.

"Ready to go back, Harry!"-Hermione said after releasing him from a hug. - "Careful Ron! Those are my books!"-she yelled at him for almost knocking their suitcases. Ron Shrugged, mouthing to Harry that she is mental as a joke.

"I guess!"-Harry said as they hold their hands to appear in Kings Cross, knowing well that nothing had changed.

They passed through the wall between platform 9 and platform 10. The platform was full of first year kids and parents, all rushing and hugging. Little kids wanting to leave and also couples kissing goodbye.

...

Draco was sitting at Zabini's Mansion waiting for Blaise to come out, he came down complaint about the burn marks still being visible at his feet and arms. Draco flinched at the Room of Requirements memory. Their dark marks had almost disappeared after Voldemort's death, and so had their bad reputation. They had been just kids after all.

Unlike Blaise who came down wearing whatever clothes he found fit, Draco was wearing some formal clothes, held his head high as always and his eyes down in modestly. His mother's wand in his hand, a ring of his father's with a black gemstone and a travelling cloak made of the best materials, soft and pinned by two silver pins on both his shoulders.

He took his suitcases and didn't forget about the letters box that he used to take everywhere. He was keeping it since he was 12, and now it had become a habit, he had put a shrinking spell on it and stuffed it in his pocket, twisting and turning it out of habit too.
