Chapter Thirty

After a few years...

"Mom, I should get going. May aasikasuhin lang ako sa radio station." Paalam ko sa Mama ko

Kaming dalawa na lang ni Mom nasa bahay ngayon. My Dad? Nasa states siya, nagkaroon na ng isa pang company doon at siya ang nag-aasikaso.

Tapos na ako sa pag-aaral, syempre as a graduate of Mass Communication, naisip kong magkaroon ng sariling radio station, sinuportahan naman nila ako.

"Okay sweetie. Umuwi ka ng maaga." Kiniss ako ni Mama sa cheeks

Lumabas na ako sa bahay, I pressed my car button at pumasok sa kotse ko.

I've worked hard simula nung bumalik ako dito sa Pilipinas, and it really payed off.

Nagmamaneho ako ng biglang mag-vibrate yung phone ko, hinayaan ko na lang since I'm driving.

Nag-park na ako sa parking lot at bumaba.

Tweet niya yung bumungad sa akin nung in-unlock ko phone ko. Nakaturn on notification kasi siya sa akin, actually lahat sila. Not because I still love him, it's because I'm a fangirl parin, remember?

Okay, maybe I still love him. Hindi niyo matatanggal yun kahit ilang taon pa lumipas, I guess mahal ko parin siya. I'm a fool? Yes.

At alam niyo ba kung ano ang masaklap? Yung wala na akong balita sa kanila, maliban sa mga tweets nila pero di parin sapat 'yon. I know It's been a year kaya nakalimutan na nila ako. Can't blame them, sobrang sikat na kaya nila.

"Ma'am Ally, kayo po ba magiging speaker for today?" Tanong ni Mia, yung assistant ko nung nakapasok na ako sa loob

"Ah? Oo, namiss ko rin kasi 'tong station." Sabi ko at binulsa na ang phone ko

Tumango naman siya at pumasok na sa booth, sumunod naman ako. Mag-start na kasi yung program.

"Good Morning po sa ating mga tagapakinig, nagbabalik po si DJ Ally." Umpisa ko

Nagplay naman si Mia ng background sounds.

Nasisiyaham naman ako sa ginagawa ko, hindi nakakasawa. Nasa program na ako na may mga magrerequest ng song na ipapatugtog sa station namin.

"Itong susunod na request ay galing kay Desiree, 'DJ Ally, pa-request naman po ako ng Moments ng One Direction'"

Hindi na ako nagugulat sa mga ganitong bagay pero iba parin ang dating kapag nababasa o napapakinggan ko ang pangalan nila. It still makes me shiver.

"Okay. Let's play it, Desiree." Sabi ko at sinenyasan si Mia

Ilang beses ko ng narinig to, and it's hitting me like a rock. Nakakaiyak tong kanta, it's about losing someone you love at gusto mong maibalik siya sa'yo pero wala ka ng magagawa, wala na.

"At jan na po nagtatapos ang ating programa sa umagang ito, sa susunod ulit. Bye" Sabi ko

"Okay. Tapos na Ma'am Ally. Siya nga po pala, may nagpa-appointment po pala na kausapin kayo, baka po anjan na sila sa labas." Sabi ni Mia

"Sino sila?" Tanong ko

"Wag ko daw po sabihin." Nakangiting sabi niya

Lumabas na ako, naexcite naman ako sa balitang narinig ko. Sila ba yun? O umaasa na naman ako?
