Part 6 | "Back To The Mansion"

-We all sit down and prepare for Genevieve to help us.

-"It started as Christmas games. We called it Questions and Commands. It went back as far as 1712. If someone didn't answer a question, or lied, they had to pay a price, or a dare. It was an innocent game. It ended up not as innocent." Genevieve says to us

-"It's that house, isn't it?" I ask

-"No no. That's just where we played it. That thing, that darkness. It isn't relegated to any one place. Evil never is." Genevieve replies

-"So, what is it exactly?" Jimin asks

-"It's um. It's powerful. It's a demon that feeds on your fear and pain and secrets." She responds

-"What?" Taehyung asks, not undertsanding

-"It uses the game to steal its victim's souls and makes it look like and accident.. or a suicide." Genevieve answers

-"So you know about-" Namjoon starts speaking

-"Your friend who died this morning? I saw it on the news. It's a tragedy for people not involved, but a murder for those who are." Genevieve says what we all think

-"We tried going to the police, but-" Jin begins to talk

-"I did as well. I wound up in an institution for ten years. I'm afraid you're on your own." Genevieve replies

-"Well, we have to leave town then." Namjoon concludes

-"No! That's not how it works. You played the game. You opened the door. It chose you. And if I could tell you why, then maybe my friends wouldn't be dead. But they lost." Genevieve responds

-"So now what do we do? This game is killing us off like flies. We can't just let it happen." Jungkook says

-"Three rounds.." She replies

-"But we can't-" I start speaking

-"You finish the game. But you can beat it. Like I did." Genevieve replies

-"How? Please tell us." Jin responds

-"As much as you can, help each other. Be smart. You have to share the dares." she answers

-"What does that mean?" I ask

-"For example, my dare was to make for deep cuts. I knew I would die of blood loss if I did that so I took one and my friends took the other three. I was hurt, yes, but alive. The dare was completed." Genevieve explained

-"What about you, your face? Why didn't you share that dare?" Taehyung questions

-"I was the only one left... It was the third round." She replies

-"And this... It's only our second round." Jimin covers his face

-Genevieve sniffles

-"Then it's gonna get a lot worse. Go back to the mansion. That's were it started and that's where it has to end." 

-Back at the Apartment-

-"Hand me that magazine, Jin." Namjoon says, pointing to the magazine on the coffee table

-Jin hands it over.

-"Hyung, is now really the time for reading a magazine? We should be packing for our day at the mansion." Jungkook says

-"I just need a few minutes to act like life is normal please. I'll pack quickly after that. Don't worry." Namjoon replies

-"Okay." Jungkook says and goes to pack his stuff
