Lance's pov

Pidge led them to the medical bay, which surprised lance. He thought they would have taken lotor to some type of cell or somthing.

When they arrived, lotor was in a pod with wires coming out of him. He was conscious, which was the most concerning thing about it.

Lance tightened his grip on keith, not really ready to see him again. It had only been an hour or so. He saw lotors eyes drift down to their hands and he snarled, glaring at keith, which lance instinctively hid with his body.

"So...what did I need to see?" Lance asked feeling annoyed and flustered.

Pidge walked up to the pod, "We are trying to get more information from him. The easiest way, of course, is to go through his memories." She pushed up her glasses.

Lance's stomach turned, that was so violating, going through someone's memories, seeing their most private thoughts... "And why do I need to be here?"

Lance asked, taking a step back, but hitting keiths chest, who placed his free hand on his arm to calm him. It didn't work.

"Hear her out lance." Keith said soothingly, and he started to draw circles in lances hand.

Lance's eyes flickered to lotor who continued to glare at keith. Lance nodded his head for pidge to continue.

"Well, seeing as you're the closest to him here, and keith was the one who was there with you, i just thought-"

"Wait. What?" Lance interrupted her. She didn't just say that.

"What do you mean 'keith was there for me?'" Lance stepped away from keith and pidge so he could look at them both.

"Oh well, I was there too at first. Up untill.." pidge shared a knowing look at keith, who seemed panicked and guilty.

Lance's heart sank, nausea working its way into every fiber of his being. "What did you see?"

"We saw kev.." hunk had said from behind him, making him jump.

No..no..not him too. The crestfallen look on hunks face made lance feel awful. This was why he didnt want to tell anyone. This was why he didnt want to tell the team about what happened with shiro. He didnt want to take friends away from them.

Lance backed away even further.
"Lance, I'm sorry. We didn't have a choice, we had to sort through your memories so we could find where lotor had placed fake ones.." keith offered, he sounded ashamed.

He'd seen everything. He saw lance talking to things...being so stupid. He saw...he saw him do so many things...how could he even still look at him?

Lance took another step and hit the pod. He quickly whipped around and saw lotor crouching with his hands on the glass, as if trying to hold him.

"Did you see them too?" He asked. His voice coated with venom.

Lotor looked surprised. "No lance! I...I gave you false memories. Thats it." He sounded sincere, but lance had things intertwined with his own experiences, and things he'd never done.

Time where he should have been at the gerrison, he was with lotor. "Then explain why they went so far back." Lance demanded.

Lotors eyes widened, as he became weary of lances rage. "What do you mean."

Lance hit the pod with his fist, "WHY DID THEY GO SO FAR BACK!? You really didn't see them? Then how did they get there?"

"I-Lance...i merely gave them to you...where in your life they came up was your own minds doing." He looked astonished, scared even. As he pressed as far away from the glass as he could.
