I woke up with a stiff neck and my head on someone's stomach. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and adjusted to the blaring light that was shining on my face. I glanced around the room and noticed a huge Zeus statue staring at me with a murderous look in his eyes. Then I remembered where I was, cabin one. I sat up on my elbows and looked to my right. Jason, Leo and I had all fallen asleep on Jason's bed. My head on His stomach and Leo's head rested on my thighs. I hated when people touched me, but Leo looked so calm and peaceful in his sleep. Normally I would've already pushed him off of my legs but I felt bad for him. He hasn't slept in days since calypso left him heartbroken.

*flash back*

Jason and I watched from a distance as Calypso screamed at Leo. We were originally going to go with Leo to face Calypso but he told us to stay put
Until he signalled that he needed help. Recently calypso has been abusive towards Leo. Physically and mentally, knowing that he  wouldn't do anything back. It hurt to see my best friend in so much pain.

Jason winced as Calypso raised her hand and brought it down on Leo's face. I watched in horror. I stood up and began making my way towards Leo but a hand grabbed onto my wrist.

"Not yet Nico, we don't want to make it worse" Jason said with a scared look on his face. "I hate her" he whispered. "Leo is nothing but nice to her, he doesn't deserve this."  I nodded in agreement.

We watched as silent tears streamed down Leo's face. He looked lifeless. He wasn't even trying to argue back with her anymore. He sat there, defeated and alone. I wanted to go help him so badly but Jason still had a tight grip around my wrist. He was right, it was too soon to intervene. we would  only make the situation worse.

"You're worthless Leo" calypso's voice boomed. "You deserve nothing. I never loved you. The only reason I'm dating you is because you are the only person that was able to get me off that stupid island. I will always be in love with Percy, you don't even compare to him. He's a hero, he saves life's. You don't, you killed your own mother."

I glanced up from the rock I was staring at on the ground and looked straight at Leo's face. His eyes flickered furiously and he flashed calypso with a murderous look.

"Don't you dare speak on my mother's name." He growled. Calypso took a step back in fear as Leo clenched his fists.

"Shut up Valdez." Calypso spat in Leo's direction. "No one loves you, and even if someone did, you'd light them on fire just like your mom."

That sentence struck a nerve and send a thrill all through my body. Jason must have had the same feeling because he stood up and started storming  towards calypso with his fists shut tightly. I followed close behind.

"You need to leave." Jason's voice was cold and sharp. "No one speaks to my best friend like that. You don't belong here."

*flashback ends*

Since then calypso has left camp. But Leo's soul has been crushed ever since. He put on a front an acted as if he was okay but his sad eyes told another story. Jason and I had silently agreed after that day to not bring up the situation unless Leo initiated the conversation. Just so we didn't pick at any healing scabs.

I didn't wake Leo, because this is the first time I'd seen him sleep since the day it all went down.
I ruffled Leo's soft curls ever so lightly and he snuggled deeper into my lap. Gross, I hate affection. But Leo did look cute...so I didn't mind. I settled back down on Jason's chest.
