Chapter 42

Destiny's POV

"Destiny"

Why? Why now? He promised me! He can't just... No, I don't believe this. This is just a dream, right? Niall can't do that to me. I know him, besides why would he suddenly- I don't even want to say those words... it makes me cry even harder.

"Destiny, baby"

It's just like the history is repeating itself, Niall leaving me alone... again. If this is a dream, I just want to wake up and hug Niall, I want to spend every hour, every minute, every seconds with him. I just want to be with him. My best friend. My boyfriend. My love.

I closed my eyes and when I opened them...

I almost jumped in pure happiness. I knew it! This is all just a dream!

I ran into Niall and hug him tight, like if I let go my nightmare will come back. I felt Niall hug me even tighter, as he run his fingers through my hair, soothing me. I rest my head on his chest as he continue in comforting me.

"Promise me you won't leave me" I said with muffled voice. I'm still sobbing like there's no tomorrow. I'm not even sure if he understand what I've said.

I don't know what got into me. I didn't even noticed that I fell asleep in Niall's car.

"Shh... Destiny. Its alright. Everything's alright... I'm right here, I won't ever leave you..."

I took a deep breath and slowly pulled away from Niall. I couldn't even look at him in the eyes...

"Come on, I'm gonna show you something" he smiled, the smile that always makes me calm down in every situation. The smile that's so contagious that even when I'm sad, I will also smile. And, the smile that I've grown to love so much.

I didn't have to speak, I just slowly got up with the help of Niall.

We just kept on walking until I saw Liam with a... horse?

As we neared him, I began wondering why on earth Liam has a horse beside him? The horse is like one of those Marlboro horse, it's dark hair shining as the sun slowly sets. Its tail moving around as Liam slowly pet him.

"Why is Liam here? And why does he has a horse?" I couldn't help but ask Niall. And all he gave me is that adorable smile. Like he got the toy he ever wanted.

"Come on, leprechaun! Just tell me... please!"

He looked at me with a smile and said, "We will ride it, ofcourse!"

My eyes went wide, as my eyes twinkled with excitement. "Really?! A-are you for real?"

"Ofcourse I am" we walked hand in hand as we approached Liam. I hugged him and asked him why is he here, he told me he just couldn't miss this event.

"What event are you talking about?" I asked confusedly. He gave me a wink and smirk at me.

"You'll know it on the right time" before ruffling my hair, which cause me to slap his hand with a laugh.

Niall help me get on the horse safely, before he got on himself. I'm actually quite scared of falling off the horse, but with Niall with me, all those negative thought flew away like a strong wind had just passed by.

It's starting to get darker as Niall and I ride the horse to wherever Niall wants us to go to. I don't care wherever we will go. All I know is that I'm happy that I'm with Niall right now. I'm happy that I fell in love with this boy named Niall James Horan.
