Jyotika Rohini Rao is born in Suva, Fiji Islands.
Jyotika was educated at Gospel High School in Suva.
She graduated with a Master in Management from the University of Sunshine Coast in the year 2012.
Obtained certificate and a diploma in Human Resources from the Australian Human Resources Institute and TAFE program with FNU.
Jyotika is an accredited Trainer qualification obtained from Fiji National University and Australian qualification from FIT College.
She is a member of the Fiji Human Resources Institute, and the Australian Human Resources Institute.
She started her employment as an office girl in the year 1988, promoted to the position of a receptionist, then as a Wages Clerk.
The progression of her career advanced to the position of Accounts payable, warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Human Resources Manager.
She was demoted to the position of HR Compliance Manager, then within three months, again was promoted to the position of Group Human Resources Manager in the same company.
In the year 2017, she took a decision of moving from Nadi town to Suva city, she took up a minimized role of Regional Human Resources Manager and within a year, she was promoted to the position of Group Human Resources Manager.
She gained experience of being a part-time tutor for the TAFE program Diploma in Human Resources at Fiji National University.
