Chapter 8 Thank you

I take this opportunity to thank every person, who was and who is, in my life for being part of making me who I am today.

My dad always has been a humble and calm person, he lived happily even though he knew; he was not the favorite. He neither reacted nor justified his stances.

He continuously prayed even in times of troubles, and the best part is, he did not give up mum and us.

Mummy, a girl married off at 17, bore 6 kids, lived, and struggled yet smiled. She went out of her way and fought through the hardest battles in her life. Before closing her eyes forever, she said "I forgive you all"

I thank my husband for being there for me when I focussed on building my career. The misfortunes turned into lessons and improvements in life. My children were never left alone. He was and is the guardian angel.

Whatever it may have been in the historic days, but what I am today is his biggest achievement. I have not seen him jealous or suppressing me from my achievements. He has always believed in my talents and worth.

It is never easy to raise your children, some say when kids grow up everything will be okay, they will stop being naughty. Bet ask all mothers, it is not easy either with the grown-up kids, it's not because they are naughty but because they are very open-minded and think differently.

People who had perceived me differently and saw me as an egoistic and proud person, I have always prayed for them to see the true me.

but this also did not stop me to ask for forgiveness for events that may have happened intentionally or unintentionally.

I thank my employers for giving me the opportunity to work in their companies, learn, prosper, and be the person I am today.

Blessed are those who put food on our tables, wipes the tears from one's and family's eyes, and helps improve family status.

Children get inspired by their parents and do not go wrong with their choices.

It is important for the employers to know that it is not their money which automatically doubles and triples but it is the blessing of the souls they have indirectly touched by giving them the opportunity to work and respect the work delivered – this invites in return commitment, ownership, and productivity.

The few friends in my life, I thank them for being with me even though decades have passed. Some far yet always close to heart. There is never enough thank you for all existences in my life.

Not forgetting my sweet dog, Sky. Her naughtiness brings a smile on my face. I get carried away talking about her to my colleagues and friends.
