Akaashi Keiji wakes up at 9 am on a Saturday morning.

He goes into the bathroom inside his room, brushes his teeth while observing the huge bags under his eyes.

He hasn't been able to sleep from the events of the night before.

He still couldn't believe Bokuto had liked him back.

Hell, he didn't even know Bokuto's into guys

But he was very much happy.

Though a little confused of what comes after, he just decided to go with it.

"I'm inlove with you, Akaashi Keiji. Even you can't change my mind."

It rang through his head like a thousand missiles ready to explode.

"I'm inlove with you, Akaashi Keiji. Even you can't change my mind."

It made his heart feel like it could burst any damn minute.

He thinks about the boy in spiky hair and golden eyes. Eyes he's willing to be lost in.

He felt tingling sensations all over his body, smiling like a giddy kid getting a brand new toy.

It took a really long time before he got over the denial stage.

As time went by though, they grew to love each other with all of their hearts, it was as if nothing had changed, except the fact that they see each other more than best friends. They felt extreme closure like never before, yeah they would fight over little things and petty reasons but they always worked thing out.

It was all they ever wanted.

It was perfect.

Everything was perfect.

Until Bokuto's  last year of highschool, when anything and everything changed in a blink of an eye.

Akaashi opens his bedroom curtain seeing the familiar face he was used to seeing every morning.

"Ah shit. I thought I could have seen your sleeping face." Bokuto says, disappointingly.

"Goodmorning to you too, creepo."

Bokuto laughs, "You look hectic, everything all right?"

"Uh thanks? Couldn't sleep all night, thinking about you and all."

"You and you excuses, Keiji," Bokuto shakes his head, faking his disappointment. "You were up all night playing the piano, I saw you."

"Ah, you got me." Akaashi says in defeat, "My eyes look horrible huh? I look like a fucking zombie."

"You look as perfect as usual to me." Bokuto says playfully, though deep inside he knows damn well he means it. "As beautiful as ever."

A blush crept their way to Akaashi's face. Bokuto never fails to make him all giddy.

"Is that supposed to make me flustered?"

"You're red face seems to be against you." Bokuto teases.

"Damn you, Koutarou."

Bokuto chuckles. "I'm on my way to practice, just stopped by to say I love you."

"I love you too, have a nice time, yea?"

Akaashi kisses his palm before pressing it against the glass, of course, Bokuto does the samae.

"See you later, beautiful."

"The hell do you want this time?" Bokuto hissed, irritated at Haizaki Shougo whom he and Kuroo bumped into on the way to practice.

"You should watch you damn mouth, Bokuto," Haizaki speaks, licking his thumb, "Especially when we're so close to your lover boy's house."

"Fuck off," Kuroo snarled, he seem to be ignoring the fact that there are 3 more people behind the one he's cursing at.

It had always been like this.

Haizaki Picking at them a few slurs and shits but never gone far, he seemed to know that they weren't fighting back at all and of course, they hadn't noticed that.

Kuroo shouldn't have cursed him.

He shouldn't have cursed him when they were outnumbered.

He should've known Haizaki had something up his sleeve.

They both should've known better.

Maybe if they knew, things would've been different.

Maybe if they knew, they wouldn't be alone in who knows where.

Maybe if they knew, Bokuto wouldn't be crying for help.

Maybe if they knew, Kuroo wouldn't be unconscious on the floor with a bleeding face.
