Ville meets a distraught girl in a bar in Helsinki, her life has been spiraling downwards ever since she was a little girl, she had lost herself in the world of drugs and mental issues have plagued her family for years. Will Ville be able to help he...
It had been quite a shocker to hear about Alice. After all this time, she thought she would have never seen her again. Her heart was trembling between excitement and apprehension. She did not know what to expect. Though the text had sounded friendly she did not know if her sister was really happy to meet her, or if the years had done nothing but harbor hatred in her heart for a sister that ran away. Still, she needed to find out. Furthermore, she did not know if she wanted to tell Ville. After all, he had already done so much for her, and this was part of her growth, to face the past head-on and finally come to terms with it. Perhaps this could be a chance for the future?
As such Sabrielle became quite secretive in the past few days. At times this would irritate Ville, but he tried to keep his cool. Obviously, she was still going through withdrawal, and perhaps she needed alone time. However he could not help but worry about her silence, something was bothering her.
" I am alright, really!" Sabrielle reassured him after he had asked her if she was again hiding something painful. She had to be secretive. She was not sure if the emails and texts had been true. But if they were, if there was a chance for some sort of redemption and healing? Perhaps, being on her deathbed, their mother was finally coming to terms with all of the harm she had done to her two deceased siblings and them.
"Ville...um...I have something to tell you," she said, hoping he would understand and hoping he would not be worried. "Look, I have a book interview next week. I may stay out late. I just don't want you to worry," she said as he looked at her with concern.
"I understand you need your privacy but, allow me to at least send a cab to pick you up," he said sweetly. "I thank you, that will help. I'll tell you all about it soon, I know I have..." she paused. "Been secretive?" Ville said, taking the words from her mouth.
"Yes," Sabrielle added, "But it's really nothing bad!" she added. "I promise to tell you everything. I just need some time," she added. "Of course, love, just please remember not to keep all that locked up, ok?" he added, kissing her hand.
Sabrielle felt horrible lying to him as the weeks passed. But she could not say anything until she talked to Alice. If she had to fly out, then she would let Ville know. That way, he would not worry, but she wanted this to be kept private right now.
When the time arrived, Sabrielle waved to Ville, assuring him she would be safe and would contact him as soon as she was done. Ville kissed her once more, and something in his heart made him embrace her more deeply.
"Please don't forget to call," he said somehow hesitant to let her go. Yet, he wanted to respect her space. All of these steps had been so hard for her to handle along with her addictions.
Sabrielle walked away and took the cab as Ville became smaller. She closed her eyes and tried to prepare for a meeting with whom she now had confirmed her only surviving sister. Though this would be their first face-to-face in a long time, she was excited. Still, she was equally ridden with guilt. There were so many things she would have wanted to share with Alice, things their parents stole from them. And there were things that were unspeakable and which had marred their souls for all time.
Sabrielle looks like this ^^ in my mind at least
