Revamped!

Ville knew he should not be doing this, but he needed to make sure she made it home safe. He knew if she found out he had hailed a cab to follow her cab, she would freak. He knew it was not appropriate but, for a reason, he could not yet grasp he was overprotective of this complete but beautiful stranger. He knew he had to be stealthy and wait for her to get off the cab and into her home.

What he did not expect was for the cab to lead into one of the dingiest and shadiest parts of Helsinki. While Helsinki, was in essence a safe city to live in, it did have its shady towns, and Kallio was one of them, known for its nightlife it had its fair share of drug addicts and homeless people, who though were not extremely aggressive, could prove to be dangerous.

Why was he panicking anyway, she probably had a boyfriend or family member. Yet, who would be irresponsible enough to let her go out drinking that late on her own. He saw her step off the cab only to heave and vomit as she paid the taxi driver, while a strange-looking bunch of men eyed her surreptitiously.

"That's it she can hate me all she wants, but if she had someone who cared they would be out here!" Ville thought concern in his mind, as he took a deep breath and stepped off the vehicle walking toward her in a hurry.

He was thinking of telling her to rent a hotel elsewhere for the night, but she would likely run. Better not risk it. Her face upon seeing him here was proof enough that she was scared and pissed. "What the fuck! Did you follow me here?" she said her head swimming. "I did darling look I know we had a fight back there, but I am not letting you go back to your apartment," Ville said noticing that the men were attempting to intrude upon the conversation, he did not trust them at all.

She kept looking at him like a lunatic, but noticed the shady group of men and got wind of what he was doing. Strangely warmed by his concern even if she was scared and angry she smiled and said. "No honey, I really think I should stay here tonight, I need my space, plus my aunt is staying here for the winter and she will be happy for the company," she said faking a sigh. After all, she had pretended many times to live with someone not wanting people to intrude on her privacy or ask too many questions.

"I think I should leave until you are safely inside and locked in, though honey your aunt might be sleeping by now," Ville said, looking around as they finally reached her doorstep. "Look, I am not going to pretend that this is not creepy and that I am not pissed, but you seem all right, and look thanks ok, but I'm ok alright, I'll pay you for the ride, but I'm fine, please don't come to visit me again," she said, tears welling up her eyes. He felt a sudden urge to wipe them away, but he stopped himself. He did not want to scare her off. Her walls were there for a reason. He was lucky she had not yet run in to call the cops on him.

"Very well, I promise not to push it. And I agree this was not right and I am sorry, I am. I know you do not have a reason to trust me, and, well despite that, I hoped you could make me a promise, sweetheart," he said, making her wince as she blushed. "Don't call me that!, Um my name is Sabrielle, remember!" she said, blushing slightly.

"You are right Ms. Dupont, I promise to respect your privacy but, you promise me no more drinks tonight, even here at home," he said. She did not know if she could trust him, he had annoyed her enough for one night, he was unbearably overprotective, and he had followed her. Yet, his words were sincere and he had recalled her last name, never in her life had she been treated like a human it was....irritating and wonderful she thought blushing madly.

However, she did not know if she could keep that promise, her life was more of a black hole than he could imagine. She was pondering this when he pulled out a small piece of paper and wrote something handing it over to her. She hesitated but took it."Here, I will leave you my number. You will contact me first thing in the morning, please? Make sure you're ok?" Ville said, hoping she would agree. His patriarchal manner was somewhat annoying but she was frustrated at how warm it made her feel.

Yet in her mind, she was thinking  What was this dude's deal? He could not be for real? He was probably pranking her

Yet in her mind, she was thinking  What was this dude's deal? He could not be for real? He was probably pranking her. Still, he had paid for the taxi and was protective of her enough to leave her at her doorstep if he had wanted to kill her or something else, he had plenty of chances before."Umm, well...er...I guess it's the least I can do, as thanks," Sabrielle said still processing his actions.

"I goodnight!" she said, nodding and rushing inside her apartment, afraid she might kiss his cheek in thanks. What was this man's game? Why was she blushing? What the hell? Sabrielle had just met him, and this Ville had stopped her from drinking herself to death, had calmed her down, and had gotten her home. No one had ever gotten past her walls so fast. It was unnerving even if the subject of it was divinely beautiful

He was strange, dangerous, and haunting. It scared Sabrielle shitless. No one had ever made her act this way. It was like an LSD trip an out-of-body experience. Her heart was hammering faster than it had ever done in a rush of cocaine.

Thanks if you are here :D
