Revamped!

The more time they wasted, the more time Ville felt that things would not end well. It was the same feeling from that night, and he could not focus. "Ville!" Jesse said, rushing to him, "What" Ville said a bit shortly. He was hot-tempered by nature, and this, coupled with his nerves, was driving him mad.

"I think I know where she lives. She was trying to hit on me once, I did not tell you because honestly, I found it weird.  She was getting so into it that I think she sent me her address and a picture of her house!" Jesse said as he showed Ville the picture. Ville hugged Jesse. He would have kissed his feet if he could. "Angel! Alexi!" he called as they came running. They had been looking for hours and were frustrated.

"I was contacting those models, one of them is really sorry. She did not know Alice's intentions, and she really regrets it. She told me that Alice was probably going to take off as soon as it was done. She told the girl to leave Helsinki as soon as the photos were published," Angel said confirming Ville's fears. It was Alice all along she had taken Sabrielle from him and though he did not want to imagine it.

"It was her, and she led her to those men, she paid them to," Ville almost felt like throwing up. "Calm down, brother. We are going to find her," Jesse said, "I told mom and dad they are scared of what this woman is capable of, so I contacted the authorities. I have a friend in Boston, he should be contacting the cops now, but they do not want to alert and trigger Alice. Whatever she is doing right now, they are asking us to find her and try to reason with her first," Jesse added.

"How can we reason with a girl that would do that to her sister?" Angel said, really pissed off. "What is the point of that lock her up and bring Sabrielle back home!" she said.

"I think it's the best baby, listen, I know you like to go in guns blazing, but we can't risk it. It seems this girl has severe mental issues," Alexi said, making Angel calm down a bit. He was right.

"What the hell are we doing talking about it then? Let's go!" Ville said as he headed out, followed by Jesse, Alexi, and Angel. Jesse stopped Ville making him hiss with anger. "WHAT!" Ville said, feeling sorry immediately for yelling. "Brother, I know time is of the essence, but promise me that no matter what, we will not do anything rash. Her safety is first," Jesse said, "I...I promise," Ville replied, understanding that his brother just wanted the best for her.

Meanwhile, in a cabin in Boston.....

"I can't say I am sorry enough Alice," Sabrielle said, she was so weak after having been beaten by her sister.  "Oh I know you can't but you will," Alice said dragging her to another room where a bed with leather belts and a lonely light awaited. A set of horrifying instruments lay beside it. "A-Alice please what are you going to do!" Sabrielle said horrified.

"I am going to make you regret what you did to me by leaving me, "Alice said revealing that one of her legs and arms were indeed prosthetics. Sabrielle shivered and cried she could not have imagined in her wildest dreams that her sister had undergone mutilation by an abuser. "I am going to make it equal, dear sister, and then, I will let you die alongside mother and our stepfather, and bury you all in the sea," Alice said her voice coming forth in a sickly sweet tone.

Alice had a right to hate him as much as Sabrielle did. He had done nothing but molest both of them while her now-deceased mother had watched. Yet, this was too much "Alice!" she said, trying to make her see reason. "I know...I know he hurt you, both of us...badly...but this is not the way...please, you have to let us go. Turn yourself in...I promise we can get you a short trial, then some help...please," Sabrielle said between tears.

Alice stopped as she was beginning to mark Sabrielle's legs so as to use what Sabrielle knew was an electric chainsaw on her. "Help...you think I am crazy? Alice said, her eyes hollow and tearful. "The only thing I want is payback! I deserve to heal! " she added, walking over to Sabrielle.

She kicked her in the stomach each time, "Don't you see...I would have wanted my old sister back! she said punching her in the stomach.

"The one who would play with me! The one who would keep the nightmares away! she cried punching her harder.

" The one who would keep the monster from smothering me as he touched me! she said as she slapped her and tased her.

"But you! you left! You were too much of a coward to stay! "she argued cutting deeply into Sabrielles thigh with a razor and making her scream.

I need my old sister back!, and so I...I must first rid myself of this hate! We will be happy soon you'll see!" she said.

Her voice was scary and maniacal as she kissed Sabrielle's forehead, who lay there bleeding and losing her breath.

Sabrielle felt guilty. Yes...she had run...instead of staying...she was a coward. Perhaps she did deserve to die. She did not deserve someone as beautiful and kind as Ville. She did not deserve a sister like Angel, a brother like Alexi or a brother-in-law like Jesse, a mentor like Like Anita, or a friend like Anja.

"You are right," Sabrielle said. She was too tired to argue and knowing that no matter how much she tried to deny it, to justify it. Alice was right. "I am so sorry, kitten," she said, crying.

Alice gasped tears in her eyes as she looked at her. That was her nickname for her, and the one Sabrielle used to comfort her once upon a time in happier days, this time instead of triggering her it made her hurt.

"I am sorry for running away! I am sorry for not being there for you! I am sorry for not being brave enough to face our family! I am sorry for not being perfect! I am sorry for not holding you at night, for not saving you! I am sorry for not just not being a decent human being, and a worthy sister!" Sabrielle said her face stained with tears.

" Do you mean it?" Alice said, her eyes glimmering with tears.

" I do," Sabrielle said, knowing it would change nothing.

"Sabe," Alice said, stepping towards her, then holding her head as it began hurting, "I am sorry" Sabrielle looked up, hoping she had reached her sister. At least to see if she could forgive her somehow...not to save her life...but to bring peace to the life she had left behind.

"But I don't believe you," Alice said, making Sabrielle's heart fall. "You are trying to trick me!" Alice said, kicking her again. "Mother tells me everything she says I should hurry up. The sooner I get my revenge, the sooner we can erase this past and start over!" she said as she returned to her evil and twisted machinations.

Sabrielle wept. What else could she do, insanity was this family's curse after all she thought.
