PART 93 ~ FEELINGS

Naina and Sameer are playing basketball, while others are cheering for them. She is winning, as of now but he as usual cheats and wins the game. ‘Tum jeete nahi ho, cheating kiya hai tumne!’

‘Nahi mene nahi ki. I won it fair enough,’ he smirks.

‘Ye tumhara na har baari ka hai. Haar ne ke waqt tum ye hi karte ho. Sab ne dekha hai,’ she glares at him.

‘Sab ke dekh ne se kya hota hai? Mein jaanta hu na, that’s more than enough! I won it and you need to accept it,’ he said confidently.

‘Nahi kabhi nahi. You are a cheater, cheater, cheater,’ she punches his chest.

Their families tries to make peace, between them, but they are not ready to listen to them. At last, they gives up and let’s them do what they want to.

‘No, I am not a cheater. You are cheater,’ he said looking at her.

‘What? How can you even call me a cheater? I never cheat, like you do always,’ she pushes him.

‘Like, you always do, when you know you are losing,’ he too pushes her.

‘In your dreams,’ she glares at him, while pushing him.

‘Oh, I saw it with my own eyes. You do this everytime, and I need to cover up for you,’ he said in equal gusto.

They keeps on accusing each other, while others just looks on. In the squabble, the loses her balance, and is about to fall, when he holds her. They looks at each other, forgetting everything, getting lost in each other.

They comes back to senses, and looking around gets embarrassed. Sunaina and Kartik feels prick in their heart, but they doesn’t show it. She storms her foot and walks away from their. He too walks away, angrily.

Next Day

Evening

Naina is getting ready, in her room for the Christmas as well as Sameer and Sunaina's anniversary party. She doesn’t know why, but she is feeling uneasy from the time, she has been here, again!

Meeting him again, has brought many painful memories back, which she wanted to get rid of. She had already burnt all his photos, and never wanted to face him again, but destiny made her meet him again!

Especially, Sunaina's pregnancy has disturbed her. ‘They are married, it’s natural for them. Then, why this feeling? Also, Naina being their daughter. I should have known this before only. Kartik, is right I need to get a closure to this, but I am unable to, why? Just a few days are remaining for my marriage, and now only, I needed to get this! I can’t be a part of their anniversary, I can’t bear it!’

Just when, she is facing this emotional turmoil, she gets a message on her cell, which makes her shocked. She immediately runs from there.

Hall

Naina and Sameer runs towards each other, and asks, ‘Are you okay?’


‘Mujhe kya hoga, chot toh tumhe lagi hai,’ she asked concerned.

‘Mujhe? Mein toh bilkul thik hu, tumhare samne. Tum batao tumhe kya huva?’ he asked her.

‘Kya bol rahe ho tum? I got a message, that you are injured and you saying, I got injured,’ she said showing him the message.

‘But, even I got that message, that you are injured, so I came here running,’ he said showing her the message.

‘Means, someone purposefully wanted us to meet, but who?’ she asked him.

‘I don’t know, nor I want to know. I got what I wanted to know,’ he said looking at her.

She turns her face away, knowing where it’s heading. ‘Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai, jo tum soch rahe ho!’

‘Accha, toh tum yaha bhagte huve kyu aai? You can’t even see me in any danger. It is high time, you accept it,’ he said.

‘For humanity’s sake, aur kuch nahi. Tum apni zindagi mein khush raho, aur mujhe meri zindagi mein,’ she said.

‘Wahi kar raha hu mein. Tumhe kis baat par itni narazgi hai? Woh sirf ek play tha, zindagi nahi thi, aur tumhe pata bhi tha, toh ab kya hai?’ he asked her.

‘Jaanti hu mein, woh play tha. Aur usi waqt meine jo kaha wo sach tha, jo tumne nazar andaaj kiya tha, Sunaina ke pyar mein. But, I am very happy in my life now,’ she said looking away.

‘Really! Trust me, I searched you everywhere, but due to my promise to her father, I couldn’t do much. I know you are very happy in your life,’ he said sarcastically.

‘As if you say, and I will believe you,’ she mocks him.

‘It’s all upto you, if you want you can, if you don’t,  it’s your call, but what I said is true. You know it too,’ he said making her look at him.

She knows, whatever he told is somewhere true and her heart wants to believe too, but somewhere it stops her, as he is married and she is going to get married. But this feeling, she can’t hold it anymore!

He knows, what he said to her and that’s the truth too, even if he is married, but he can’t hold back his feelings now. It’s now or never!

They looks at each other emotionally and slowly embraces each other. Just then, all the family members arrives together and seeing them, gets shocked.

They quickly parts ways, embarrassed. He sees Sunaina glaring at them.
