[CHAPTER TWENTYFOUR]

Opening my eyes with difficulty, i closed them immediately with a groan because of the sun shining down right on my face and then heard a chuckle coming from next to me.

"Morning! " I heard him say and i groaned a little more until i felt the back of his hand on my cheek.

Smiling and putting my hand up on his and taking it away from my face, i finally opened my eyes and murmured "Morning." Sleepily.

Looking up at him, his blue eyes look like he's been awake for a while and his creepy smile shows something that makes me furrow at him, "Were you staring at me while i was sleeping??" I asked bitterly and his smile widened after nodding his head sheepishly.
"Ughhhhhhhhhhh, YOU CREEP!!" I said and hide my face under the pillows, making him chuckle loudly and pull the covers away.

"Come on, Grumpy lady!" He said, looking at my eyes and came to kiss my temple, then continued, "You-" a kiss on my forehead, "-Are -" a kiss on my nose "-so-" a kiss on my cheek, "-damn-" a kiss on my jawline "-pretty. " and the last one was on my shoulder. Up until now, i was smiling like an idiot and when he pulled away to look at me, his smile faltered, "I dont fucking deserve you." He whispered and kissed my lips while moving his hand down to my waist.

After a second or two he pulled away and smiled, "Lets go get some breakfast. " and then i heard a smack and my eyes widened when i realized he fucking slapped me on my butt and he just laughed at my reaction.

After seeing him disappear behind the door, i brushed my hand through my unruly hair and stretched my aching body. Then made my way downstairs and found myself drooling over the smell of bacon in the air!

"Mmmm, it smells AMAZING!!" I said while entering the kitchen, looking at the back of a half naked Nathaniel in front of the oven with a towel on his shoulder. "Well well well, the view is also AMAZING!!" i said and giggled when he looked back at me while wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

I did absolutely nothing except for ogling and drooling over him the whole time until it was time to eat and only then i diverted my attention towards the food infront of me.

We didn't say anything about yesterday and just ate our breakfast in silence. Right when we were putting our dishes away, the front door busted open and Nate pushed me behind him in a less than a second, growling at the intruder.

"Alpha," i heard Damien's voice and moved away from the growling, now Ryder's, back!

Damien looked so stressed out and sweaty that the site of his shaking body made me frown and wait to see what has happened.

"Spit it out, Gamma." Ryder said, making me jump and look back at him because of his harsh tone.

"We- we found a rouge trespassing.." Damien said and i could see that he's not letting something out but didn't comment on it.

"You already know what to do. Now, GO." Ryder said again and looking at Damien, he was fisting his hands on his sides, trying to control himself, but i didn't know why.. i couldn't decipher between anger, or stress so i kept on looking at him while he kept on looking at the ground infront of him.

"But Alpha-" he said lowly and got cut with Ryder growling at him, he was absolutely irritated.

"I SAID GO." Ryder boomed at him and seeing Damien's reaction i realized its stress and fear that he's feeling.

"What is it Damien?" I asked softly, looking at Damien and waiting for him to look me in the eyes.

"Lizzie, don't interfere. " Ryder said while taking my arm in his hand, trying to make me turn back to him, but i swear to god that Damien was about to cry at the moment so i pushed his hand away and went to stand infront of Damien.
