From behind her, a pair of hands had covered Ayeon's eyes upon exiting the business department building. She slightly jumped in response, taken aback. Her hands went up the person's hand tugging it away in an attempt to remove it.

Ayeon was struggling. She had tried to shake off  the hold on her  by wriggling her body to the right and left. The girl even elbowed the person. However, the anonymous person was indeed stronger than her and the only thing she felt when attempting to elbow the person was their core, their muscles in the abdomen. Hence, she failed. Instead, it felt as if she only tired herself out as she inhaled for oxygen.

"Hyuck, I'm tired! Get your hands off me already!" She breathed out.

Her statement was all it took for the person behind her to get their hands out of her sight.

He jokingly gasped. "Don't ever say that again. I personally think that my hands are better than his." The young man whined, pouting as he inspected the details of his hands carefully.

"Sure, Jaemin." Ayeon retorted. She nodded, being sarcastic. "What are you even doing here? I thought both you and Hyuck have gone to the cafe already."

The girl had then resumed walking to the direction of the meet up place and Jaemin followed, matching her pace.

Jaemin shocked his head. "I had to consult a professor to make my output before midterms better." He paused for a moment before going into detail about it.

Although Ayeon has her full attention on him, she couldn't quite really comprehend. It was full of jargons, the way Jaemin explained. She tried her best though. Small nods, genuine smiles, and frequently asking questions were Ayeon's method to encourage Jaemin to talk more. The way Jaemin's eyes glimmered and the way his lips continuously curled up into smiles had resulted in Ayeon feeling his passion for it.

The whole conversation with Jaemin melted Ayeon's heart. She was delighted to see her friend that way. Although, she did wonder if there were times that young man was unsure if he had gone to the right path.

Originally, Ayeon had wanted to take up Accountancy as her degree. However, she had doubts. She never fully believed in herself nor in her capabilities. She had enjoyed accounting classes and did excel on it, but she couldn't really see herself if she would continuously make it to the cut off as it has a high retention grade.

Yes, the young woman was a scholar but she liked to think that it was luck that got her there. And now that the previous year had given her more than she expected, she felt as though she had now run out of it. Hence, choosing a safer path which was Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing. She did knew that every path would be a difficult one, however, Marketing felt lile it would come hand in hand with fun as you learn it.

A hand held Ayeon's wrist, halting her from stepping forward. This got the female's attention, bringing her back to reality.

She blinked a couple of times taking in her surroundings. A chuckle could be heard as she did so. There, behind her was Jaemin who had a grin plastered on his face as his eyes were fixated on her.

"You almost passed by the entrance." The young man announced amusedly as his right hand pointed towards the glass doors.

The two had gone in and the bell above the entrance rang which got the attention of the few people inside, including Renjun and Hyuck's.

Hyuck's face displayed a grin, excitement in his eyes at the sight of his girlfriend. It fell for a brief second upon noticing Jaemin's hand was on Ayeon's wrist, but he quickly masked it off. However, it didn't go unnoticed by Jaemin.
