"You've been quiet ever since earlier, when I picked you up." Donghyuck started, squinting his eyes at Ayeon who was again seated across him, starting out the glass walls of the café. "I'm not used to it." He groaned as he pushed his hair back in frustration.
Hyuck leaned forward from his seat and tapped Ayeon's forehead.
"Care to share what's on your mind?" It didn't sound like a request, it came out more of a demand.
Sitting back down, the young man crossed his arms, waiting for the girl to speak. In that moment, Donghyuck got to fully take in Ayeon's features.
Sharp eyes that managed to somehow look soft, small nose, pink plump lips and her hair that ended a few inches below her collarbone. His eyes were traveling when he saw something that piqued his curiosity. He gulped as he finally found the answer he had been waiting for. Hyuck saw the purple heather that has been peeking from the top of Ayeon's red scarf.
"It's okay to have admiration for someone though," He slowly started, his voice low and had his eyes fixated on Ayeon. "It just means you appreciate that person's existence."
Slowly, the young girl lifted her attention off from the table, finally letting her eyes meet the gaze of the person in front of her.
"Oh how I wish it was only pure admiration." Ayeon whispered, almost inaudible to be understood.
