Izuku's POV
I've been living with Hitoshi for about two weeks now. In that time I have been in four Ally Fights. I got first place twice, second place twice. Hitoshi hasn't been in one yet. I'm currently teaching him how to fight. He's pretty good at it now. We are also working on his quirk. Trying to make it stronger and stuff. Honestly at this point I trust Hitoshi completely. He's had several chances where he could have taken all my stuff and left ,but he hasn't. He's also saved me a few times. Like when a rouge kid decided to try and steal my stuff. I couldn't fight back with all the stuff in my hands. Hitoshi showed up and saved me.
My wounds have healed quite a bit. All of my wound from the explosion have healed. Well except for my ears of course. Several of them have scarred ,but that's not that bad. My arm is still broken. Hitoshi set it with some small sick thing we found at the store. They're really strong though. And some bandages. I can already tell it's gonna scar. Hitoshi had a few wounds that we bandaged up. He had a small gash on his side. And bruises every where. His thumb is also broken. We set that the same way we set my arm.
After I won my first fight and had gotten the clothes and stuff. I shared some with Hitoshi. We went looking for a job. About a week later we found one. It's a small little cat cafe. It's on the outskirts of the good side of town. It's still in the good side ,but pretty far out. So it's close to us. It's about a thirty minute walk from our tree house. An old lady own the place. Her name is Kioskia Kita. Her quirk is helping hand. It allows her to grow up to three extra arms at a time, really handy. The cafe is called 'Kits Cat Kitchen'. My and Hitoshi love cats.
We found this place as we where walking home from a store we applied and got rejected from. She was closing up and needed some help so we helped her. She thanked us and Hitoshi saw her 'Hiring' sign. He then asked if it was still ongoing and she said yes. Then we sat outside her store and she asked us questions. She didn't seem to care that I was deaf. She could also sign. That made me so happy. She said that she had a granddaughter who was born with a speech disability. Her tongue was deformed and doctors couldn't fix it. So she's going to be mute her whole life. So her and her family learned sign to communicate wither her. She didn't care about my quirkless status either. She said her wife's mom was quirkless and a wonderful woman. She said that quirks don't make the person personality does. She didn't care about Hitoshi quirk or our lack of last names. She didn't even care about our young age. She hired us.
I work back in the kitchen. Hitoshi work as a cashier and Kioskia Kaseko is the waiter. She's Mrs. Kita's mute granddaughter. She's about a year older then us. There's also another person. Caskanta Yukia. She's also a waiter. She's Kasekos best friend. Their the same age. We all switch positions when needed. We work six days a week and get payed sixty dollar a week! Saturday is pay day. Mrs. Kita has about seven cats in this cafe. People are also welcome to bring their cats if they want to. The cats are. Females~ Noia ~ Laca ~ Rei ~ Sumi ~ Males~ Luca ~ Somi ~ Kaca ~ there are also a few stray that wonder in time to time.
I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn around. It's Yukia. "Hi Yukia! What's up? Need anything?" I sign to her. "Nah I'm good. Here's a bag of cat treats in case any wonder back here. We're gonna open up soon. You ready?" She sign back handing me the box. I take it. "Yeah I'm pretty close. I just have a few more pastries I want to get finished for the display case back her." I sign.
Okay hold on quick brake for a second! From now on signing is going to be underlined. Talking out loud is just normal font. Signing is underlined. And authors notes are bold. Thanks!
"Okay. Me or someone else will come back here and tell you when it's open okay?" She asks me. "Yep that works for me!" I sign. She smiles and leaves the room. I turn around and go back to work. This cafe does quite well for its self. We have about thirty regulars to our cafe and usually about fifteen non regulars come. On a normal day. I finish up about ten more pastries and put six of them in the display case. The others I put in the fridge. I start some cat treats and put them in one of the ovens. There's four ovens in the kitchen. Then Kaseko walks in. I wave to her. She smiles and approaches me. "We're opening now. No ones here yet ,but we are open." She signs to me. "How has your day been so far? I wasn't able to see you today. You and Hitoshi set up right?" She asks. I nod. "Yeah we did. My days been good I've just mostly been talking and baking. What about you? Ask her out yet?" I ask. I laugh as her face turns bright red. I can feel my throat vibrate so I think I laughed. "Don't sign stuff like that! Yukia or Hitoshi could have seen you! And no I haven't. I don't even know if she likes girls." She says her face turning glum at the end. "Ask. Or better yet! Invite her here and one of us can ask for you!" I sign to her. Her face perks up. "Oh! That might work! Thanks Izuku your the best! How's your arm?" She asks me. "Oh it's fine. It's getting a lot better. It hardley even hurts now." I reassure her.
Suddenly I see Kaseko turn to the side. I look over and see Hitoshi walk in. I happily wave to him. He waves back. "Hey guys we got a few costumers now. Here's your list Izuku. Kaseko we gotta head out and seat them. Talk to ya later Izuku!" He signs me. We all sign bye and I take to paper from Hitoshi and get started making the items.
Here y'all go. They got a job. Yay! And it's at a Cat Cafe! Those places sound awesome! I've never been to one. They sound so cute! Have a good day/night! Bye!
