iv. you're sad

neil:

- you storm into your dad's classroom one afternoon after classes were finished
- tears staining your cheeks and sniffling
- neil had spotted you when you walked by
- so did all of the other guys
- before you made it to your dad's classroom neil stopped you
"baby, what's wrong?"
- you asked if you could go somewhere more private.
- the guys watched you walk away with neil
- he held your hand and kissed you on the cheek
"i've had the worst day ever neil."
"what happened?"
- nothing had gone right today.
- neil rubbed your back as you cry

todd:

- todd wasn't expecting you to come in while he was doing homework
- but there you are!
- you weren't exactly crying, but your breath was not steady.
"(y/n)."
"todd.."
- before you said anything, he hugged you.
- he mumbled cute things in your ear trying to get you to smile.
- he sat you down and read you a poem that he was working on for mr. keating's class.
- you laid your head on his shoulder and he kept trying to make you smile
"do you love me?" "yes."
"you won't leave me?" "no."

charlie:

- you were sitting next to him in the cave
- it was just the two of you
- he was flirting with you but you weren't responding like usual
"hey..are you okay?"
- he kneels in front of you and smiles
- you explain that you just don't feel good
- he grabs your hands and says how much he loves you
- small pecks on the lips
"ah, you smiled!"
- him telling you how perfect you are
- quoting shakespeare till you feel happy

knox:

- you just received news that you failed a class.
- a class you promised your parents that you'd pass.
- instead of going straight home, you attempt to find knox
- when he saw you, his heart dropped.
- mascara was running down your cheeks
.- he rushed to you, grabbing your hands."(y/n). come with me."
- as i've said in prior chapters
- he is so romantic!
- the whole evening he just watches over you
- keeping your mind preoccupied
- small hugs and deep conversations

meeks:

- he was going to teach you some latin
- but you couldn't focus
- tears brimmed in your eyes
- nothing was clicking for you and you weren't understanding anything he had said
- he hasn't noticed it yet
- not until you sniffle
- he looks up at you
"is something wrong?"
- you don't say anything, not wanting him to see you tear up.
- truthfully, you don't have to say a word for him to be right beside you
- he places a finger under your chin
"what's wrong?"
- he's insanely gentle with you.
- holds your hand and tries to teach a little less quick

pitts:

- knox had just gotten mad at you for your grades
- you had a c, which he was not happy about.
- after the argument, you go find pitts to complain too
- he was upset with knox for getting angry
- but he pushed that away to care for you
"it's okay. there's always next semester."
- he was super comforting, not wanting to upset you any more than you were.
- holding your hands and telling you the straight a's make up for that one c.
- letting you cry on his shoulder
- he made everything better with his dorkiness.
"you promise you're okay?"
- he holds you super tight in his arms.
