THEODOSIA RHODES has lived with her brother for years, she hasn't know anything different. She grew up inside hospitals. The canteen hosted every birthday party, and the surgical gallery was her bedroom. Until one day, it all changes. Her life gets ripped apart. A mysterious stranger turns up soon afterward and changes her life. This was something she never saw coming, but she isn't complaining.

_____

I woke up, hot and sweaty, my body shivered with chills. I sat up in bed, grabbed my inhaler and walked into the common room to take it without waking the others up. Soon enough I found myself rushing into the bathroom to throw up the contents of dinner.. I turned the tap on and started rinsing my mouth out.

The door started to creak open, I spun around quickly, still completely disoriented.

"Who's there?" I asked, trying not to show my fear.

The lights flickered on, I grabbed the closest object to defend myself with. Hermann had left some wood out from earlier when he was repairing the floor, so that was my only weapon of choice.

Whoever it was stepped forward. There was Gabby in her pyjamas, with a baseball bat.

"Thea?" She asked "Why are you throwing up at 2:00am in the morning? Are you pregnant?" She carried on, engulfing me in her arms.

"I really hope not." I replied as I fought my way out of her arms and ran to the toilet bowl to threw up again.

"And we're going to Med." She said and with that she fireman carried me to the ambo, got a vomit bag from the back of the ambulance and told me to try not to throw up whilst she was driving.

When we eventually arrived at Med, Maggie greeted us. She was finishing up some charts, rushing to get home to her family most likely. With a final signature, she put the folder down and passed it to the nurse behind the desk, smiling at her as the nurse filed the papers and made her way to grab her bag.

"What's up girls? Thea, Connor left a couple hours ago. Do you need something?"

"She knows, we're here for her. We definitely need some help. She's being throwing up and has had a fluctuating temperature" Gabby replied concerned, holding her hand to my head to check my temp.

One of the last things I remembered was a pain in my chest, and everything soon went dark.
