King woke up with a headache. He hated feeling like that after a night out especially when he had to go to work. He got out of bed to take a shower, hoping it would wash off his hangover. After showering, he checked on all of the plants, he had in his apartment. There were a lot, but King made sure to allocate good enough time for each and every plant. He paid a little extra attention to the one he had planted a few days prior. A Venus flytrap was hard to grow from seed. King only managed to grow a couple of them, which he sold at his shop, but this time he wanted to keep one for himself. It was slowly growing and King was pleased with himself.

"You are growing so well my little son. I am going to make sure you get all the light and nutrients you need so that you will grow big and strong. I will be your father and take good care of you."

King smiled at the plant before placing it back in its place. He finished checking on all the plants before going to pick up his phone. He vaguely remembered that he was messaging Ram the previous night and he hoped that he did not send anything strange or weird.
"King is very weird, he liked weird people and has weird tastes," that was how his friends introduced him to other people. Sometimes King got a little upset about it because he did not understand what was so weird about him.

'How many nephews do you have?'
'Two so far. They are twins.'
'I have one.'

King did not reply to that message for a while.

'I have named one of my plants Nosaxa. It is the name of a star but it means Spring. I do not know why but people assumed I know that language because of it. I do not even know how to say hello in it. I was just looking for a name for my plant and it looked like it fits since it blooms in spring. So no, I do not speak Argentinian. I barely even speak English. Damn, I even mix up Thai sometimes. Why do I speak Thai?'

King rubbed his forehead with his hand. He kept asking himself why he would send that message. Sure, it was sent at around 2 am, which meant that he was probably drunk by then and had no idea what he was saying or who he was talking to. However, he should refrain from touching his phone whenever he was drunk. Ram did not answer him after that and King wondered whether he would answer him at all. He sighed, turned off his phone and started getting ready to go to work. He wondered whether Ram would even reply to him after such a weird text and somehow he was getting worried about it too. He liked talking to the younger male, even if they had only been talking to him for a couple of days.

Once at his shop, King opened his phone again and noticed that there was no reply from Ram. Not that he was expecting otherwise, because he knew there was no way for someone to reply to that message. He stared at his phone wondering whether he should admit to being drunk or not.

'I'm sorry about that message. I was a little drunk and I start talking about plants when I'm drunk...'

King stopped typing his text because he wondered whether it was going to turn into a rant. He wanted to delete the message and type it again but the door opened and King quickly put his phone in his pocket.

His morning was busy with many customers. It was spring and usually, during that time of your people would be interested in buying plants or seeds. Plants looked the best during spring and it gave people false hope that the plants could remain like that all year. King warned all his customers that many plants would lose their flowers in a few weeks and need to be taken care of in order to regrow them the next year. He always hoped that his children were being taken care of properly.

It was a little past noon and King felt his stomach grumbling. There weren't any people in the shop. King noticed that he would usually have an hour or so free of customers. The heat was getting worse so people avoided going out at those times.
