Juliana flopped onto her bed, her long blonde locks sprawling around her head, giving her a halo of hair. She had just finished all of her homework, even though it was only Saturday night. Huffing in exhaustion, she reached for her Trigonometry textbook and flipped it open.

"Hey Jules!" Amanda called out. Juliana lifted her head from her book and saw her friends standing in the doorway.

"Hey." She returned her attention to her textbook and Kamerine groaned.

"Come on Jules. Take your nose out of that book for a bit." Reluctantly, Juliana set it to the side and sat up, kicking her feet in the air as they hung over the side of her bed. She ran her hands through her hair.

"What is it?"

"It's party time!" Amanda shouted. Juliana rolled her eyes.

"It's always party time with you." She mumbled.

"So? You coming?" Kamerine looked at her with pleading eyes. Juliana opened her mouth to tell them no and then shut it, noticing her friend's attire.

The two girls were dressed in white crop tops with tight neon skirts that matched their shoes. They had the bodies for it, being supermodel thin, but honestly it was appalling to Juliana. Their makeup was bright and way to... Noticeable for Juliana's taste.

"Sorry guys. It's a no. Besides, I've gotta study." She motioned to the stack of textbooks in the corner if her room and held up her Trig book.

"You can't be serious. Jules, you're an honors student! I don't think you've ever gotten a B in your life!" Kamerine laughed. "Come with us. It'll be the party of the year. And all the guys there are total hotties." Tired of arguing, she agreed.

"Alright." Kamerine looked her up and down before laughing.

"What?" Juliana looked down at her outfit. She was in a pair of light blue skinnies and a thin white v-neck over a black tank top. Her black Vans were tied tightly to a point where it was almost cutting off her circulation.

"You can't go in that. Come here. Let me dress you." Amanda pulled her off the bed while Kamerine raised her closet. Anxiety grew in her stomach as she watched her friend throw around articles of clothing.

"Too covering, too boring..." She gasped and walked out, a black halter top in her hand.

"This is perfect! Oh my gosh, I love this dress." I face-palmed and she looked at me confused.

"What is it?"

"That's a shirt, Kam." She held it up, stretching the fabric.

"Nope. It's a dress." She quickly changed Juliana into it and grabbed her purse, pulling out her makeup bag.

"No! I draw the line at the makeup. It's bad enough I look like I should be on an X-rated film." She grudgingly agreed and Juliana swiped on some mascara before slipping on her Vans once more. Amanda cleared her throat and held up a pair of black stilettos.

"How about no. I'd break a neck in those things!" Without any further conflict, she grabbed her cell and was dragged off to the party.
