Juliana finished heaving up the contents of her stomach before turning around to face Amanda.
"Oh honey, it's okay. When I get smashed I get WAY sicker than that." She motioned to Juliana with her hand. Kamerine slapped Amanda's hand and gave her a look that said 'dude, shut the fuck up while you're ahead.'
"That's so inconsiderate! You're used to it, she's not." Kamerine rubbed Juliana's back comfortingly and Amanda's eyes softened.
"Jules, I didn't mean it like that. You know I love you." Juliana nodded.
"I know sis. I love you too. It's all good." With a smile, Kamerine went inside to eat her breakfast. Amanda stepped in front of Juliana, her fingers intwined in her hair.
"You gonna come eat breakfast?" She asked. Juliana shook her head.
"No, I'm still a bit nauseated. I'm just going to take a nap." Amanda gave her a disapproving look.
"You slept all day though!" Amanda whined. Juliana raised her eyebrows.
"You guys dragged me to that god damned party, I will do whatever the hell I want!" Amanda caved and Juliana gave a triumphant grin.
As soon as Amanda went back inside, Juliana sprinted for the Jeep. Slipping the keys from her pocket, the stick them in the ignition and sped off.

Juliana skimmed the isles of Dollar General as she searched for what she needed.
"Ah, there it is!" Juliana exclaimed. Grabbing the tiny box, she walked up to the front and checked out quickly, not paying attention to the cashier lady. She was probably giving her a weird look that Juliana really didn't need right now.
"Have a nice day." The lady behind the counter spoke kindly. Juliana kept her face down turned.
"You too." She mumbled.
~~~
"Oh my god...." Juliana cried as she looked down at the Clear Blue test in her hand. The one word that was displayed across the screen changed her life. That one word sent fear ripping through her. That one word.
Positive.
