They pulled into the driveway and Jay carried the still-crying Juliana upstairs. Her tears wet his dark t-shirt but he didn't pay it any mind. With ease, he carried Juliana into his bedroom upstairs and tucked her into the bed. Her body shook visibly as she sobbed, making the bed frame creak.
"Shhhh... It's okay JuJu." He whispered in her ear in an attempt to soothe her. She sniffled and felt Jay stroke her hair gently.
"How is it okay?" She asked, turning on her side in the bed. Tears continued to stream down her face but she was no longer hyperventilating.
Jay looked deeply into her eyes, his own becoming soft with compassion.
"Because I'm going to be here with you through it all." All of a sudden the tears stopped and she sat up, holding her flat womb.
"I... I don't want our baby growing up without a family." She said with a sad tone. Jay moved over to her, his muscles well defined through his shirt. He sat beside her and pulled her head into his lap, stroking her hair with one hand. His other hand drifted to her stomach, caressing his child from inside her stomach.
"He or she is going to have a family. An amazing one. Were going to love it unconditionally. And my parents are there too. Heck, they just met you and they already love you." A small smile crept onto her face and Jay grinned widely.
"There's that smile. Keep it on your face. It's beautiful. And so are you." With that, Juliana cuddled into his chest and quickly fell asleep, the scent of pineapple and cinnamon filling her senses.
