Jay pulled into the driveway and parked the car.
"I can't believe that is our baby." Jay leaned over to the passenger seat and touched the picture of their unborn child. Juliana smiled and looked up at him.
His face was a mix of unbelief and happiness. Juliana studied his face, which was now only a couple of inches from hers. Her pulse quickened as she noticed how easy it would be for their lips to meet.
"Y.. Yeah. Me either." She spoke. He shifted his gaze to study Juliana's expression and he pursed his lips. Jay gazed into her eyes.
"You know, it's pretty hard to believe a little human is growing inside of you." She breathed. Their faces inched closer when he chuckled, using it as an excuse to come nearer.
"You know, maybe I am ready to be a dad." Jay whispered. He lifted his hand and pushed one of her locks behind her ear and let his hand rest on her cheek. A shiver ran down her spine as the connection of their skin tingled.
"And maybe I'll be a good mom." Juliana breathed before feeling their lips meld together. Sparks flew between their mouths as they kissed. Juliana's heart fluttered.
Jay moved his hand from her face to her waist and laced his thumbs through the belt loops of her jeans. Juliana's breath quickened from anticipation. Her hands moved to his head and she twisted her fingers in Jay's hair, pulling him closer to her.
Pulling away momentarily, Juliana gasped for air. Jay trailed kisses from her mouth down her jaw. Her breath hitched once his lips landed on the hollow of her neck and he moved his lips back to hers. Jay shifted his weight so he pressed down on her, careful not to apply too much pressure on her abdomen.
"We should... Probably go inside and stop now." Jay exhaled. Juliana nodded and felt the weight lift off if her. Taking a deep breath, she opened the car door and stepped out, holding the ultrasound picture in her hand. She got to the steps when she heard Jay shouting.

"What the hell are you doing in my house!" Juliana ran up the stairs and through the open door to see Kamerine and Amanda. Worried expressions were plastered on their face until they saw Juliana.
"Oh my gosh, Jules! We thought something happened to you!" They encased her in a giant hug before turning to Jay.
"He didn't do anything did he?" Kamerine asked, not moving her gaze from Jay. Her eyes were narrowed with suspicion.
"No no, of course not! He was perfectly behaved. We, erm, actually have something to show you." She pulled out the ultrasound picture and her friend squealed as they flocked to the image.
"Wow! That's the baby?" Amanda exclaimed. Juliana nodded her head happily.
"Are you ready for this responsibility?" Kamerine asked. "I mean, you can always have an abort..."
"NO!" Everyone yelled. Juliana's hands flew to her stomach out of instinct, taking a protective stance. A tear slipped down her face and Jay rushed over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"We are not getting rid of this child." He spoke in a serious voice.
"Yeah. You can't just kill a human being Kam. It's not right. This is their baby." Amanda spoke. Juliana nodded and Kamerine ran a hand through her hair.
"Okay. Well Jules, were there for you every step of the way."
