What happened that night.

"Hello, Steffen, this is Laura, Laura Smith... June Jones Secretary."

Laura was frantic from what she was witnessing on her handset. June had kept their call on video while she was preparing to meet Steffen at the door, but to their surprise Scott showed up instead. Laura witnessed Scott barging in and insisting that he wanted June for himself. 'What to do? What to do?! If I yell he will hear me and things can turn for the worst. ' Laura was totally freaked out and panic rushed through her. Then she remembered; she had Steffen's number was written in her schedule book for June. She grabbed the note book and her car keys and called Steffen from her car as she made her way to June's apartment.

"Hello, hi Laura how are you?" Steffen thought it was odd that June's Secretary would be calling him at this time. "Is everything ok?" He asked.

"You have to get there quickly! Get over there now!" Laura was out of her wits and tried to get his attention.

"Get where? Laura calm down and speak clearly." Steffen heard the uneasiness in her voice and immediately sensed that something wasn't right. He was already on his way to pick up June and had Laura on speaker as he weaved through the traffic.

"It's June, Scott barged in her apartment, the last thing I saw was him pushing himself on her. I think he attacked her. We were on video call waiting for you, but Scott came in instead and he didn't look good. I couldn't see much after a while I think he knocked the phone out of her hand, all I could hear is them scuffling, and I can't tell what's happening."

"What?! Call 211 right now and get them over there!" Steffen stepped on the gas putting on hazard lights he wasted no time on the road. He became scared and enraged that something terrible happened or is about to happen. Not knowing whether June was ok was eating away at him.

"Ok ok. How far are you?" Laura asked frantically.

"I just made it to the top of her gap and now turning in." Steffen's heart raced at thoughts of uncertainty.

"Ok don't let him know you're there," Laura was making her way also, she hoped the police made it in time.

"I am now turning into the drive way."

"Ok I'll be there shortly too." Laura started to cry. She didn't just thought of June as a boss it was more like a big sister.

Steffen turned off the lights of his car not to alert attention and rolled into the parking lot. He brought the car to a stop and rushed out. His heart throbbed as adrenaline kicked in. He rushed through the door, but stopped suddenly when he noticed Scott coiled like a foetus on the floor holding his groin and groaning painfully.

"Steffen?" He shot up his head at the sound of his name.

"June!" He rushed towards her and took her in his arms. He felt a sense of relief having her in his arms knowing that she was safe.

"How did you...?" June was surprised at his reaction and froze in his arms.

"Just for a moment, don't say anything." He whispered.

June swallowed hard and her feet felt week at his warm embrace. To what seemed to come so naturally, she raised her hands encircling his back while resting her head on his chest.

Scott was disgusted at the sight of the two locked in arms but he was unable to get a good word out because of the overwhelming pain he was in. He made an attempt to get up only to fall back to the floor finding it impossible to stand without spreading his feet. "UGH!!" He bellowed.

Steffen released June and had her stand outside far away from Scott. The same time the two police officers came in to assess the situation. One officer spoke to Steffen and the other helped Scott to his feet. He refused the officer's help only to ask for it quickly after so he could stand. The officer apprehended Scott then asked for Steffen and June to accompany them at the station to file a report, they then escorted Scott from the premises.
