Zela still felt as if her skin was crawling the entire ride back to the house as she tried to erase the images from her head as much as possible. Every time she blinked, the images of naked women flashed multiple scenes in her head. Then the multiple dealers who came in for their pay didn't make it any better. She rather be locked in her room than working in the warehouse. One thing she didn't do was leave Hondo's side, wherever he went, she followed a few feet away. He was the only person who felt like would actually give a fuck about her if something happened in there.

Zela looked out the window as she counted the plenty of McDonalds and Dunkin donuts that seemed endless on the ride back to the house.

"So how you like this? Trust me ion want you working here, but you know Kane." Hondo asked, turning to Zela.

He heard the music from her headphones already knowing that she wanted to drown out the day as much as possible which he was okay with. He was already planning on telling Kane that it was her last day working there, anyway. He clearly saw that she wasn't cut for this type of work and wasn't going to force her into it.

"Can we make some changes?" She answered as she pulled her headphones off, placing them into her backpack.

Even though it wasn't the best thing to be doing, Zela knew that the only way to properly accept working there was to make some type of exception. It didn't have to be big, but just enough for her to be comfortable.

"How big of a change?" He answered, stopping at the intersection.

"Like can I be somewhere where I'm not looking at..." Her voice trailed off as her phone rang seeing Ericka and her picture flash on screen.

"You got it." Hondo answered plainly as his eyes scanned the streets before running the stop sign into the neighborhood.

Hondo didn't need Zela to make a complaint or request when it came to her being comfortable. He was going to handle it, regardless.

She looked up at him, puzzled. She didn't think he would have given in without even hearing her problem.

"You sure? Cause ion want Kane getting upset cause of m-"

"Don't worry about Kane aight?" He assured as he pulled into the driveway of the house, immediately recognizing the white Acura in the driveway.

"Shit," He muttered as he gripped onto his steering wheel whipping into the driveway behind Kane's car.

Zela noticed just how quick Hondo's body language changed when he pulled into the driveway. His face turned sour already seeing the visible veins pop along his arms. He sat still in the driver's seat constantly looking in the rearview mirror as the woman stepped out the backseat of the car with the small infant attached to her hip.

Zela studied the chocolate-skinned woman who walked to the car as she didn't miss a beat. Her head held high, shoulders straight and back arched all while the baby placed his head onto her chest on her right while she had the baby bag on her left.
