Kane laughed to himself as he walked over to the bar he and Niko built for his mom after realizing how much she loved to throw cookouts practically every weekend. From the cooler that held a personal bar of E&J, Hennessey, Remy and others that were regularly stocked every Saturday to the Charcoal grill and smoker that they racked up five thousand dollars each on her last birthday. It just felt weird to Kane how he stared at not only his boss but his father in the same area.

He poured into his cup taking two large gulps slightly hissing as he poured another.

"So you have no questions?" Marshall spoke and Kane looked over at his father who lowly talked to his fiance repeatedly kissing on her on the forehead as she took deep breaths.

Kane honestly felt slightly disgusted because all he could imagine was his mother in her place as a child. He quickly shaked the image out, taking a shot from his cup and pouring again.

"We grown men here if you wanna make the decision to have a fiance then congrats man, when's the wedding?" He spoke as Wood raised his brow.

Even though Kane's statement came from an adult mindset, the way he executed it was beyond disrespectful. Wood instantly saw the way Kane responded, but also reacted to his father's actions. He kept quiet, glancing over at his best friend who just looked at Kane not as his son but as some dumbass begging for some shit to pop off.

Marshall lightly chuckled as he sat down, "You ain't got to get disrespectful, you have a hard time hiding the anger in your voice."

"I wasn't." Kane spoke as Niko's phone rang, taking him out of the most dense environment he had ever been in. He blindly answered his phone, holding it to his ear as he turned away.

"What's up?" He answered.

"Niko? I need your help." He faintly heard Ericka's voice as wind and zooming sounds made him look at the phone.

"Ericka, where are you at?" He asked, walking away from the group into the house as he sat in the kitchen.

"Off of exit four in Downtown Miami." She said as he groaned, shaking his head.

There was no way that he was his first option to call since she was consistently around the area and knew for a fact that her dad wouldn't hesitate to come and pick her up. He enjoyed her little plans to get him to spend time with her.

"Like on the highway?" He asked as she groaned.

"Yes, can you come get me, please?" her voice pitched as he snickered into the phone.

"You aint got to do all that now, drop yo pin and I'll be--" His phone instantly vibrated as he glanced at the phone seeing Ericka's location in his notifications.

"Which car are you coming in, so I can be on  the lookout?" She plainly asked, making him smirk.

"Damn you keeping tabs on me or something?"

"No, I'm just observant, which car sir?" Nicko couldn't help but to smile hard enough to catch his mother's attention instantly and prompted her to head his way.

"Imma let you pick." He answered.

"The Donk."

"The Donk?" He repeated, making sure he heard her right.

Niko rarely had women in his Caprice because they all felt the same way about his baby, it was old and out of style. The same type of females who drove an 07' Mercedes but posted pictures as if it was a 17'. He couldn't understand it, but he knew his Donk was a vintage and also a prized possession to him.
