"Guys! Let's play the game Silent Killer!" our class President suggested.
We are currently here on our field trip. This isn't a field trip! This is camping!
Sitting around the bonfire, using only tents for roofs, there's no even free food in here.
"Isn't that dangerous?" Miss Lili called out.
Detective Lilia Adair told us to be comfortable with her and call her Miss Lili or just Miss. Just by gazing at her, I can feel she's a good detective, but I won't be defeated.
"It's not, Miss." Our class vice president defended. "It is just basically an eye-to-eye game. Everything depends on what's written on a piece of paper. All of us should choose one paper. One paper has a "Killer," "Police," "President," and the rest of the paper are Civilians. Whoever picked the 'killer,' he or she should be the murderer. He or she should eliminate the civilians by winking without the police knowing it. If he or she kills the president, the game will be ended, and the winner goes to the killer. If the police catch the killer or the killer winked at the police, he or she must say, "I got you," then the killer will lose. The police should also catch the killer before the killer slays the president. However, civilians can not speak whoever the killer is."
"It seems like a fun game." Miss Lili nodded.
It is...
"Okay, I'll prepare the paper." Our class secretary volunteered and went to the tent. Boys and girls have different tents. I have no protests on that because the tent is prominent that all the girls are fitted inside.
"Rose...?" Miss Lili caught my attention.
We are currently sitting on the sand encircled, including Miss Lili which is 3 people away from me; we're in a total of 40. We are camping on the beach. We really formed a big circle.
"This big circle is an advantage on the killer!" Mia, our class secretary, exclaimed in excitement right when she came back.
I looked at Miss Lili with a questioning look.
I was surprised when she is looking at me as if seeing something...someone.
Can she see Rose?!
"Isn't dyeing your hair risky?" She asked. "I mean, it can burn your scalp or, worst, make your hair fall entirely and make you bald.
I was back to my senses and sighed freely when I heard her problem. I sighed and shook my head, "I didn't dye my hair, Miss."
"Why is it lighter than my skin?" She laughed, which made me rolled my eyes. She didn't see me, so she had no idea that I was upset about her joke.
"It just automatically grows like that." I smiled, a fake one. "As you can notice, the ends are black. It was my previous hair colour."
"Did you take some medicine?" I raised an eyebrow, giving her a confused look. "You know, to grow a natural blonde hair, I've wanted to dye my hair like that!"
I shook and gave her a smile that I am not comfortable with our conversation, and I don't want to talk about it.
"Let's play!" Our president shouted.
We started choosing a piece of paper one by one.
"Auroral, the killer is on the 10th paper," Rose whispered.
"Hmm..." I nodded and grabbed the 10th.
She's right. There's a 'killer' written on it.
We started looking at each other, smiling and grinning like some kind of a freak.
