I keep everything tucked away, all the pain I've been through, all the tears I've shed and all the desperate thoughts of suicide.
but one day my worst fear came true. someone saw through my mask, for the first time ever
after we stayed in the practice room for a few more minutes he took me out for food, then insisted on paying. we sat around talking and goofing off. then we talked about baby names. we haven't come to a decision yet. but he respects that I want to wait till the child born to find out the gender, so we talked about girl and boy names
after that, he walked me back to my apartment, and when I say he walked me, he walked me, all the way up the stairs and to my doorstep. I was a bit sad when our hands parted, but the sadness soon faded when he pulled me in for a hug then placed a soft sweet kiss on my forehead
"Goodbye," when he said it his voice was so soft and caring. "give me your phone" I demanded as I held out my hand. he looked a bit confused but smiled and gave it to me anyway. I quickly put my number in and sent myself a text.
"There, now you can call me anytime!" I said with a smile as he took his phone back. after that, we said goodbye once again and I went inside, taking off my shoes at the door cause they were killing me. since I got pregnant my feet have been swelling so my shoes don't fit the same no more
I walk into the living room just to find Mia sitting on the couch waiting for me, she looked like she was asleep, I looked at the clock and its read 10:57 pm (22:57) I smile softly, she must've stayed up waiting for me to get home. I walked over and sat next to her on the couch
I gently shake her arm. she wakes not long after, she rubs her eyes before looking at me. she smiled before asking the question I've been waiting for "How'd it go with Hyunjin?"
"Pretty good"
"How good?"
"we're dating now," I said with a smile and she started fangirling "I'm so happy for you!!" she hugged me before she looked me in the eye "Tell me everything!"
and that's how we ended up getting to bed at midnight (00:00)

the next morning I woke up to back cramps and a good morning text from Hyunjin. I laid in bed texting him for a couple hours. he asked if he could come over and I told him he could drop by anytime.
He asked if I had eaten yet and I told him no. he said he was bringing food over. so I laid in bed for a few more minutes before getting up and deciding what to wear. since I didn't have to hide my pregnancy it was a lot easier to pick out an outfit

not long after I got ready I heard a knock on the door. I looked at the clock and realized it was probably Hyunjin so I walked into the living room only to find out that Mia had beat me to the door, and had already struck a conversation with Hyunjin as he was standing in the kitchen with bags of food and Mia was sitting on a bar stool on the opposite side of the island.
Hyunjin saw me and meet me halfway with a good morning kiss. which I took happily! he wrapped an arm around my waist as we walked into the kitchen he opened the bag and pulled out a styrophome box and handed it to me
"I read that pregnant women often crave chocolate, so I got you chocolate chip pancakes!" He exclaimed happily with the cutest little smile. "thank you so much, babe!!" I said with a big smile, hugging him before finding me some syrup and a fork and digging in
"And this is for you!" he said handing Mia a box. she opened the box and found Blueberry waffles. her face lit up with happiness before she turned to Hyunjin, "how'd you know?" she asked referring to her favorite breakfast food. "Y/n told me!" he said proudly for remembering important details.
after we ate Mia had to meet up with Jeongin since this is going to be her first free weekend for a while. she signed up for a few summer camps and extra school activity's to keep her busy during the summer.
I and Hyunjin laid on the couch, cuddling as we watched a movie. his head was resting on the arm of the couch as I laid in between his legs, his arms wrapped around me and laid on my stomach, I placed my hands on top of his and that's what we did for the next hour
we weren't too worried about the time, seeing as Hyunjin has today off and I haven't gotten my job back yet anyway. so we just spent the rest of the night cuddling and we ordered take out in the evening seeing as I was craving BBQ. Hyunjin was trying to pay with that I pouted and he gave in and let me pay
I smile triumphantly as we ate our food. once we sat back down, I sat on the floor in between Hyunjins legs as he sat on the couch. the couch was making my back ache more anyway
after we finished Hyunjin placed his hands on each of my shoulders before gently rubbing the tension away. I was glad to finally have someone as kind and considerate as Hyunjin around, cause I've been missing someone to fill that role for a while now.
"What's on you mind babe?" he asked and I leaned my head back to look into his eyes "Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you" I explained and he smiled "no, I'm the lucky one. to be dating such a strong, kind, and compassionate woman" he said as he motioned for me to sit beside him and I did
he wrapped his arm around my waist as the movie was ending and I slowly fell asleep with my head on his shoulder. the last words I heard before I fell asleep were "I will never stop loving you Y/n."
