April's P.O.V;
"April wake up, i'm taking you shopping!" Joven was about to jump on me to wake me up when I stopped him, not wanting to be crushed.
"AHH I'M AWAKE STOP!" Covering myself, bracing for impact.
"Hehe, I thought that would wake you" He giggled. "Now go get dressed, we're going shopping"
I crawled back under my quilt, meh, I didn't want to go shopping. I wanted to cuddle up and read The Walking Dead. Then I realised why he was taking me shopping.
Oh my god, I had totally forgotten. I WAS GOING ON A DATE WITH SOHINKI. Oh shit, oh shit. I was really surprised when he asked me, I didn't think he liked me. I had to bite my lip to hold in a massive grin. AHH. I'm so excited. Too excited for that matter. I jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs, grabbing the toast out of Joven's hand.
"My toast!" He cried, watching as I ran into the living room
"I'll buy you something in the mall if you stop whinning!"
"Fine, my poor toast" He pouted and walked off laughing to himself to the kitchen.
I ate the toast quickly and then charged back up the stairs, shoving my phone on charge and going to clean my teeth.
5 minutes later I was ready. I had shoved my You Me At Six shirt on with a pair of black skinnys and my gorrilaz converse, the only shoes I really wear..
I grabbed a navy jacket and practically jumped down the stairs.
"Someones a bit eager" Joven stood there grinning at me, leaning on the banister.
"Shush, now lets go before I explode out of happiness!" I jumped, pulling the door open.
"Sohinki's one lucky guy, having you as a date" He laughed, closing the door behind him.
We got into his car and drove off the the mall.
"What you gonna get me then?" I grinned, moving slightly in my seat.
"A dress" I raised an eyebrow.
"Joven.. I haven't wore a dress since I was 10" This was true, I went to a party and wore a flowery dress of red and pink. I wasn't into dresses and skirts, I never have been. I didn't like them that much. I was more of a jeans and t-shirt girl.
"Thats why" He laughed "The bistro is quite posh so you need to dress up!"
"Ugh, fine, as long as I get to pick it"
He laughed "We're here!"
So we walked into the mall, staring at the hundreds of shops before us. Wearing my first dress in 12 years, great. I bet i'll look terrible and he'll look all handsome and amazing..
"Try here" He said, opening a door to quite a posh shop, full of dresses and really nice t-shirts.
After some searching around, together we had 5 dresses. One of which Joven had picked, I absolutely adored. It was strapless and black. It had a lacey top then the skirt part spread out from my hips. I was in love.
"You gonna try them on?"
"No, just that one" I said, grabbing my choosen dress and heading towards the changing rooms.
I slipped out of my clothes and into the dress. Perfect fit. I grinned at my reflection. It actually looked ok. I felt happy and comfortable in a nice, girly piece of clothing for once in my life.
"Let me see then!" I slid out of the changing room and grinned at Joven.
"Er, wow" He stood there gobsmaked.
"You like?" I said spinning in a circle.
"Yes! You look beautiful April" He smiled slightly at me "Now get it off so I can buy it you" He winked at me.
I got re-dressed and waited for Joven as he paid for my dress.
"Thanks Joven" I gave him a tight hug "Let me buy you lunch?"
"Yeah, go for it, i'd like a meal at Burger King"
"Alright then" I linked arms with him "Off we go sir!"
"After you madam!" So with that, we wandered off in the direction of Burger King.
3 hours later.
"Ugh Joven I can't find my liquid eye-liner" I was standing in my room frowning, I turned it upside down just do find some god damn eye-liner!
My dress was hanging on my wardrobe and I had my music blasting from my phone.
"Oh wait, found it!" I heard an annoyed grunt come from outside my door. Oops.
I did my liquid eye-liner quite well, it wasn't as bad as it normally looks so I was all good.
I slipped into my dress, straightened it out and looked at the time.
"Shit" It was literally 8 and I then heard the door open. I sighed and grabbed my shoes, quickly putting them on and grabbing my coat.
I looked in the mirror and smiled, took a deep breath and wandered out the door.
Matt Sohinki's P.O.V;
"Dude she'll be down in a minute, chill!"
"I am calm, kind of" I straighted my bow tie. I don't even like these things, It was making my neck itch like mad. I was just simply in black skinny trousers, black converse and a white shirt with a god damn bow tie.
"You are ready right? No crappy small talk" Joven raised an eyebrow at me "Or really bad puns"
I laughed "I'll try not too"
He smiled at me "Hey have you played-" He stopped at the noise of someone coming down the stairs. I straightened myself up and followed Joven out the door.
She stood at the top of the stairs grinning "Ready?"
"Er yeah" I stumbled upon my words. Wow. She looked stunning. I mean perfect. Her hair fell in curls and she had done her make-up beautifully. Its not like she needed it though. The dress she was wearing showed her figure off nicely, just wow. I scratched the back of my neck, great. I looked like a right tramp.
She reached the bottom the stairs and grinned at me.
"Shall we go?" I said, offering her my hand.
"Yes we shall" She said with a smile, taking my hand in hers.
"Remember to bring her back, i'm staying at David's so do what you want!" Joven cried, chuckling to himself.
We both turned around and grinned at him then turned back and wandered to the taxi.
We both got in, managing quite well as we were still holding hands.
"To the bistro please pal" I asked the taxi driver, grinning like a fool.
I leaned back and looked at April. She was so beautiful and I was a very lucky guy, just to even get a chance with her. I smiled to myself and looked up at the bright lights of the bistro.
