Joshua Ovenshire's P.O.V;
"Begin from first thing this morning,explain what happened in detail please"
I sat twiddling with my fingers. It was a long,confusing day and if i'm honest I didn't want to say what happened. I could feel April and Sohinki's eyes staring at me,telling me to start.
"Well,I woke up and made myself breakfast,called the guys from Smosh Games and they came over and we mind-mapped ideas for the new videos" I took a breath.
"Then April and Matt came downstairs,they revealed they were dating and after eating her breakfast,April went to the mall"
"Who are the 'guys from Smosh Games',just for the interview purposes?"
"Oh,Las-I mean David,Mari,Ian and Anthony"
"Mhm,ok,carry on?"
"Er,We was all about the leave when I got a text" I stopped and stared at my hands.
"And,er,what did the text say Mr Ovenshire?" I didn't move or look up.
"It was from April's mom,she told me to stay at home as she was coming round and not to tell anyone one as it was a surprise" I felt a tear run down my face.
"In Mr Sohinki's statement,he said you frowned at your phone and acted strange,is this true?"
"Yes,It was un-expected for her to text me,especially when she lived in Texas" I wiped the tears from my face "I found it strange but I decided to go along with it,I mean,Susan wouldn't of lied,or so I thought"
"About 5 minutes later there was a knock on the door,I opened it to Susan smiling and I gave her a hug" I closed my eyes and wiped away the new tears "I was about to let go when something cold and metal touched my head"
"She kept apologizing as I realised it was a gun she had to my head,I was shaking like mad and I didn't understand" I heard a muffled sob from the side of me.
"She led me out the door with the gun pointed to my head,I locked the door and she led me to a van where I was blind-folded" I took a deep breath.
"We were drove to some warehouse on the other side of town,or well I think it was,I was led into a room and they took off my blindfold"
"I was greeted by Susan shaking and biting her lip to stop crying,James,Ruby and..Erm,Derek?" I turned to face April,her eyes were wide and focused on me. She nodded slightly,squeezing Matt's hand harder.
"Who are they?" The police officers stared at me,quite shocked.
"James is Susan's boyfriend and Ruby is his daughter,Derek I think was April's ex from Texas,from what I heard"
"They kept asking me where April was and to give them money but I didn't understand and just kept refusing"
"They then turned on me and started to attack me,all except Susan" I sighed "There was a basement,so maybe it wasn't a warehouse,and they pushed me down there and I fell straight into some boxes and landed on my arm"
"I was so scared" I said crying "They kept saying they'd hurt the people I loved if I didn't tell them about April and where she was at the time"
"I told them i'd give them some money if they'd leave us alone but they wouldn't take it,they just wanted April but I couldn't let them have her"
"They wanted her for money,and thats all,I think they wanted to sell her" I turned to see April quietly crying into her knees.
"They hadn't tied me up" I laughed slightly through the tears "Stupid right? So I lunged for James and managed to knock him over but Ruby pulled out a gun and pointed at me before I could strike at him again"
"Susan screamed and tackled her,she kept saying she wanted it to stop and she wanted her little girl,this ended with Ruby and her beating each other up,there was quite a lot of blood"
"Then that Derek guy stabbed her and she fell,when she was down he stabbed her 2 more times,there was blood everywhere"
"She had wounds from Ruby all over her face and then the stab wounds but she was still alive,then he kicked her in the head a few times but she was still breathing"
"I was begging them to stop,the whole time James was holding me back,hitting me the odd time,she asked to see April before she died so I begged them to let her have her dying wish,which they eventually agreed to,for a price"
"We got into the van and I had to write them a check for $10,000,all my life savings,just for them to leave,thats all they came here for,money" I wiped the tears and sweat from my face.
"They wanted April for money but when they realised she wasn't there,as they had been watching us from outside the studio and my house,they had to settle for me"
"April had told her mum where she was living so she could visit" I stopped myself from sobbing by biting my lip "So thats when they dropped us off and sped off,we walked in and thats where she.." My voice cracked "Died"
"Ok Mr Ovenshire,I think that explains it,thank you for your time and there is a taxi waiting for you all" He stopped the recording and smiled at us.
April and Matt had stood up,she walked over to be and gave me a hug.
"Everything will be ok" She mumbled into my shoulder.
April's P.O.V;
By the time we got back to the house,the police and forensic people were on their way out. They was taking down the tape and clearing away their things.
We wandered in and I stood staring at the couch,they had removed the blanket and cushion covers for evidence. It just didn't feel right. Then it hit me. I was an orphan. My parents were dead and I was alone. I felt a tight pain in my stomach. I felt sick and I needed sleep. I would think about everything in the morning.
I got a glass of water,gave Matt a kiss and Joven a hug and went upstairs. I placed the glass on my bedside table and slid into my pajamas. I took off what was left of my make-up and cleaned my teeth. I plugged my head-phones into my phone as I walked back into my room and shuffled the music.
I laid on my bed and listened to the Motionless In White lyrics swimming through my mind,letting the tears run down my face slowly.
Begging for mercy,but nobody heard me,I so tried to stop this,but just couldn't help it,with all the air in my lungs,I will scream for you and you can't stop me now, 'cause you're already dead.
