we invested our emotions into dreams that gave us hope to propel ourselves forward/
we disregarded anything & anyone who tried to feed us negativity we wouldn't digest/
while everybody discarded away the idea of it all,
but we still believed in a perfect tomorrow/
we conducted ourselves through the journey of our not so cenematic love/
sometimes with joy & sometimes with sorrow
