"Babe?"
Oh no, you knew this tone.
"I'm so sorry but..." Taemin grinned sheepishly, "I don't think I'll be able to pay my part of the rent this month?"
You sighed, nodding understanding. You'd seen this coming. His one-man business wasn't going all that great, and he refused to take a second job, because apparently his business took up all of his time (and it totally wasn't because he had a problem with authorities, but whatever).
"I'll see if I can work more hours at the café." You mumbled tiredly, earning a wide grin from your boyfriend.
"You're the best Y/N!" He pulled you closer, placing a wet kiss against the corner of your lips, "Love you!"
He didn't notice it. He didn't notice how tired you were. Of school and of him living off of your money.
"Love you too." You muttered, turning away from your boyfriend, who hopped away happily.
For a minute, you did nothing but stare at a point on the wall in front of you, contemplating your life choices, before taking out your phone with a sour expression.
"Y/N?"
"Seokjin. Your place. Now. You better have drinks prepared."

"No, it's just like... I don't get it, you know?" Seokjin huffed out, taking a sip of his apple cider (because Kim Seokjin is a pussy and a damn light weight), "What stops you from leaving him?"
"Because I love him Jinnie!" You groaned out, shuffling around on his cozy sofa, "But you wouldn't understand because you haven't been exclusive with anyone in... how long? Five years?"
"Okay first at all: Wow Y/N, this was a low blow," The older grunted, "Secondly: You are a smart girl. How can you be stupid enough not to see that you fell out a long time ago. You're in love with witty, charming Highschool-Taemin. Not the wet loser you're living with today."
"Don't talk about him like that!" You whimpered, tongue feeling heavy in your tipsy state.
"Why not?" Seokjin leaned back against the couch, spreading his long legs over his spot on the floor, "You know what he is. I know what he is. Everyone does."
You snorted, taking another big gulp of whatever it was that Seokjin had given you, "He's just having a rough time right now-"
"No," Seokjin cut you of, "He isn't. And do you wanna know why? Because of you. Because you let him live off of your money. He's doing just fine and you are the one having a rough time."
"I'm his girlfriend, of course I support him."
"Did you really just come all the way here and told me what he did, just to defend him?" The raven hair asked incredulous.
"I-" He was right, why were you defending him? "I don't know."
"See? This is so unlikely you." Your friend stated, rubbing a hand over his face tiredly, "I think it's for the best if you're leaving. It's late and if you drink anymore, I'm afraid you'll vomit all over my sofa and I don't really want that."
