One Year After Jimin Left
"Will you be fine by yourself, Hyung?" Kai asked with a worried look, earning a playful nudge from the older.
"Of course, dummy," Jimin said grinning, "I'm a big boy after all."
"If you need anything, just call me." The young dancer repeated for the 100th time now, worry never easing.
"I will, I promise." The fairy assured him once again.
Suddenly, he felt a hand swat the back of his head, making him turn around with a shriek, "Hey!"
"Take care, brat." Amber said with a small smile, readjusting her back over her shoulder. She'd also be leaving today, though her destination wasn't South Korea but China.
Jimin smiled at the woman and swiftly turned around to face the people he had been allowed to dance with for one year.
They'd been all so incredibly nice and welcoming, somehow reminding him of his friend Namjoon, showing him yet another face of humanity.
His journey to America had somehow managed to make the human world feel more like home to him. While he detested this place for several reasons only a year ago he'd learned to love certain things about it over time.
Small things. Like the cheap coffee they sold in the small shop next to his old dance studio or the way the sun felt more bearable when it was windy. Or the small smiles strangers gave you when you held a door open for them. All of these things seemed to be trivial but were reasons as to why Jimin wouldn't think of trading this world with his old one.
But now it was time to face reality again, after he'd been hiding from it for a whole year.
I'll find you, Y/N
He didn't know wether she resented him or would be happy to meet him. Namjoon agreed on letting him stay at his place for same time, like the angel he was, and Jimin genuinely hoped that Joonie and her were still somewhat close, so that he'd have a reason to contact her.
They never talked about Y/N, mainly because Jimin had never dared to ask.
He'd been running away from his problems, from his heart ache, but now he was ready to go back and make things somewhat right - if she allowed him to, that is.
With that in thought, the fairy stepped into the Airplane, waving his friends goodbye.

At first you had no clue what Namjoon meant by this message, but the more you thought about it the more obvious the answer was; Joon was talking about Jimin - his flight to be more precise. Jimin was coming back.
